  1. I've emailed with Tony before and he is definitely not a cocksucker. I'm not sure why anyone would think he is. I'm not sure that there will be a TNT reunion but anything can happen. Tony had every right to go a different direction. He spent over 20 years with TNT.

He has a great reputation with other musicians and is very talented in my opinion.

  2.

Love the first two but no interest in hearing them now.

    Why is that?

His voice grates me at times and I can't image it got better with age. I absolutely love the first one and the second was solid enough. The few after that were not very good IMO and I'm just not interested. I hope they prove me wrong!

  3. I compared mine to the photo of the the one listed in the link above. The one in the auction listed above does look like the color is washed out (faded) compared to the one I have. I've had mine for quite some time and long before these cds started showing up. Matrix number on mine is T1001 12/90 1DA1X.

I was also wondering about these Touris cds being listed. It possibly could be a band authorized reissue. But I'm not sure. It would be great to get this confirmed from someone in the band (not just a photo of a band member signing a cd).

Upon further review, this is a boot or a "second Press". The matrix numbers you listed are not even close on mine. I know I paid $120 for it but still, I thought I was getting a deal because it was an original. Time to file a claim I guess...damn, seems to be happening a lot lately...:(

  4. Won this one recently. Anyone who owns this, can you look at the back insert. Mine has a bit of a faded look, almost like a copy. Can someone see if theirs is the same? Is this cd being bootlegged at all?

Thanks or the info and scans would be even cooler.

  5. what's an OBI

Funnily enough, it's what makes the value of the cd. Example: Stryper Soldiers Under Command first press can be bought for $20 without the obi. With the complete obi, mine is for sale on Ebay for $699.99

The older first pressings have a box obi that slips on the case. Then they started doing sticker obis that are attached to the case (99% of the Kiss first pressings are this way.) then eventually they became paper obis.

The reason I started collecting Japan CDs is because of the uniqueness of the obi. Now it's too expensive a hobby which is why I am selling them and buying all domestic.

Look at the front of my home page at www.throwinthehorns.com and see the left side of the pics. Those are the obis.

I love Mood Swings but the song I've never really liked is "Change Comes Around". I love the rest. Am I alone in this or what? :anon:

Yes. You are alone. But I'm glad you're still around.

I like the chorus but hate the guitar sound and Hess' vocals on the verses.

I use to like you lol. Sorry bro, not just a great song but classic HS for sure!

    Samples from 'Mood Swing II':

Absolutely does not need to be re-recorded...

but HOLY SHIT THAT IS GOOD!!

Absolutely does..........as previously mentioned this is purely to re-gain the recording rights.

Also 3 new songs...........that's what Im excited about.

The new song sounds amazing to these ears.

[one thing that does piss me off though is that Harry is still not going to sing Sent Blvd.....he sounded amazing on his solo album but the production wasnt beefy enough - I was looking forward to finally having a definitive version of this track - Harry singing with a huge production but sadly that wont be the case :-(]

Have to disagree on SB as Darrin killed Harry on the original.

  8. I thought

Soooo, I see Impulse Music is now a sponsor and exclusive CD dealer for MR Fest 3. I wonder if when someone walks up and ask them a question if they'll turn their back to them and ignore them?

I thought the same thing Mike. My wife asked me if I should ask them where the hell their store is since we drove to the address on their site and what do you know no store. I used to love buying from them but I've given up unless they can convince me otherwise. I'm wondering if they've now moved back to Chicago area since their coming to this event.

In 1997-98 me and a buddy drove there, six hours away and shopped in the store. One of the best days man...great music everywhere. We both dropped about $800 a piece. The guys there were pretty cool and I was a loyal customer. I remember walking in and hearing Belly of the Beast playing by Tigertailz. Needless to say I bought it because I heard it...my first taste of the band.

Years later it became increasingly hard to get a hold of hem to place an order, even online. At one point I thought they were closed. No return calls or emails. I stopped shopping there...

    I hope things have changed...
