Well lets dissect this Dan. The Eagles scores 30 or more points the first two games. It's no accident they were held to 16 being the Chiefs are ranked #2 in defense. The margin of Victory should have been higher but our offense is a work in progress, while still averaging almost 24 points a game. Not to mention the game was in Philly...and we wanted to win for Andy. It's not that the Chiefs were great last night, but rather my Eagles absolutely SUCKED abysmally. On both sides of the ball. The margin of victory should have been WAY higher given the number of turnovers the Eagles had.Oh, and as one who followed Andy Reid for 14 years, don't think he will lead you to the promised land. You'll be lured into being optimistic only to have your hopes dashed. The man cannot coach in clutch situations.
Coming from a Chiefs fan, you can understand why we would be willing to take Andy over what we have had. He is a GREAT coach and will keep us competitive.
If I were an Eagles fan, I'd want him back after seeing this goofy ass offense that makes you prone for mistakes and gets your players hurt.

I still get a lot out out of country sales but its for out of print items. I have lost sales as well. Like I said before, Ebay forces registered shipping basically. It's $25 to ship ONE cd international with tracking. Insane...
-
Shut down two high scoring offenses in the last five days....nice.
Their defense is the truth!
-
I wouldnt say going out of business but sales certainly arent as good as they were before the int'l shipping rates went up which is why I have to run these type of sales every so often.
Also , why I haven't been able to release as much product this year.
I hope to re-print some of the older stuff soon.
I hate to hear that. Word from the inside says that USPS could very well go belly up. The government owes them money so they won't bail them out. Going to get worse I'd say...

Going out of business?

That sucks...going to be there next month

I think I am losing my mind. I could have sworn this is the joint I drove to in the 'Burbs of Chicago back in the late 90's but their website says they are in Colorado? Did they move or is it a different place in Illinois I am thinking of? Dan, you may know this being in IL.
Thanks!

I would say that there are parts of MI, ES and even Facemelter that are filler tunes. Those last 3 just aren't as consistent as the 81-90 era. Hell even much of the Unearthed discs could be actualy albums from that era.
I like Endangered Species. I think it's much better than Musically Incorrect.Really anything from Earthshaker to Ten is the right answer and there isn't a wrong one in that mix IMO.
I'm currently playing Endangered Species and while it's not as good as the early releases it does have many great tunes like "Sail on By", "God Only Knows" and "Still Falling".
Both albums are phenomenal! The band can do no wrong!
Most of Unearthed are Ten Sessions but all pretty much the 80's. I'm still pissed they left off the song Candy from the Unearthed CDs.

Just one more reason to love this girl & band. She's like Doro and Pat Benatar on steroids waiving the hair band flag. Love it...

This band and her in particular can keep releasing covers as much as they want. Fucking kick ass band!

They still hold up their appeal, for me at least. Just yesterday, I saw a cassette tape collection and it still looks good to me. Maybe because I grew up looking at vinyl and cassette tapes at record stores.
Me as well. I grew up on vinyl and then tapes from about age 12-15, then it was CDs. CDs were still expensive for a bit so I kept buying cassettes for a while as well.

That track is a b-side on its original release of the cd single as well. Very easy to get and on ebay for a few bucks usually. It is a very cool track indeed!
-
Another cool one in he mail yesterday that never got an official silver release!
-
I thought about it a couple of years back, walked into my CD/ Music room, had a quick look around and slapped myself in the face and told myself not to think impure thoughts ever again
.
Lololololol!!!
-
I tried but couldn't do it. In fact, I went backwards and started looking for vinyl!
-
Love this! 7 tracks, different versions of what made the album including the awesome "Stand Tall" that would have fit nicely on their ST album. Coolness!!!
This is their indie release with a different drummer.

Wow, those samples sound incredible. I mean, the album was already a masterpiece to begin with, but those sound great too! My one complaint, and I know I am completely alone on this, is they messed around with "Just Like I Planned." I absolutely love the a capella original. It's one of my favourite Harem Scarem tracks. I don't know why they felt the need to change it.
I was hoping they would leave it off. Only filler song on the album for me.

Ok have to admit the first clip posted is straight up rock with that grinding riff. Would love to pick that up. The other tracks listed by Zach. we're fucking terrible though. I will buy the debut though.
-
Is there any chance this just might be a decent acoustic cd? It didn't exactly sound twangy.
-
Can't blame the guy for trying to make a living but good night....who does he think he is? Ron Keel?
-
Loved the debut CD. I heard it got re-released or something with some additional stuff. Did anyone get it? Is it worthwhile?
Sorry guys, I couldn't stomach the 2nd and 3rd release when they came out or now. I'm with Mullethead on this one.......
Could you imagine if grunge never exploded and everyone in the band just got along.... Skid Row release a proper follow up to Slave, Vince stays in Motley and Primal Scream is the first single from a proper follow up to Dr. Feelgood.... too many to mention!
Can never happen in the cycle of things. Too much of a good thing brings out overkill of the bad as well. Reinvention....that's what kept some of those bands around. I never understood that as a kid or even thought about it. I just assumed the music would always be popular but I realized I was wrong. I remember buying a Metal Edge mag one day going "what the fuck is all of this?" It just died off.
You mentioned Skids and Mötley. Look at the flip side if you can...these are just my opinions of course but I love Subhuman Race. Had they stayed together those of us who love Bachs solo stuff and post Bach SR stuff would be deprived. As for MC, we would have been deprived of the excellent St Corabi album and two excellent Vince solo albums.
I've learned to enjoy the history and feel blessed that most of the talented bands are still going today.
Yeah, my Chiefs? They're pretty good...

I see them 10-6 if injuries stay away. I'm not really scared of any team with our defense. They may end up #1 in the league this year. Sutton was the Jets DC when Rex Ryan first got there. Very stout....
The offense will expand as we go on. You have everything new...can't just go out and wing it. Once Bowe gets going as well we will be dangerous.
