  1. You didn't like Shout it out? When I heard the cd for the first time I was excited when I heard it. I liked Wasted as well but Shout hit me right off the bat. The chorus is very similar to Beautiful Creatures.
  2. Yeah I definitely disagree with the Motley & Queensryche thing. Tho I will say Operation was just a different style than Empire but both great nonetheless. Theatre gets no credit at all, even from the band as they hate it too but I don't agree. There are some great songs on Theatre when you take out Smokin' in the boys room. Van Halen III was better than Diver...I know you aren't comparing those two but DD sucked pretty bad.
  3. Sounds fucking awesome to these ears!
  4. Those mentioned did not start out child stars though. I think history is well documented on kids getting famous young. Not good... Plus all three mentioned actually had good music as a side note And think about the likes of non child stars like Keith Moon, Jani Lane, Bon Scott and god knows how many others who are no longer here because fame meant drink and drugs. Its no different no matter what age they are. Fame and money are often too much for people to handle sensibly. A lot of adults do it yes but we are talking about a kid essentially. I don't care either way...he's a douche.
  5. The one with the girl singing is Big Mouth unless there are two? Ok so I have to admit...minus the above mentioned track the cd is growing on me....
  6. Or you may want to stop before track 3...just to be safe
  7. Do the vocals trail off after "Deceived," because they sound fine to me. Yes! Some of the songs, he sounds downright dreadful. A few of the songs are good when he actually sings normally. Backed. Mostly dreadful though. Even Deceiver left a bad taste in my mouth the 1st time I heard it but it does get worse somehow. Some of the songs get very boring as well but the one thing that sticks is this guy can still rip like it's 1986.
  8. I hate to say this but the vocals kill what could have been an awesome album. Jake shreds...shame. And the song with the girl singing may be the worst song ever!!!
  9. Wow I wasn't expecting this! The last album was their best IMO and I am going to have this one for sure!
  10. Don't forget "Sentimental BLVD" Oh man I did! You are correct sir...killer song as well!
  11. He doesn't sound like Darren. He is trying to be something he is not which is a head scratcher because the guy can sing lights out. I don't get it...now he is going by DJ or something? He might be afraid someone will link him to Harem Scarem or something? That's not a bad thing Darren...geez.
  12. Yeah I saw the track listing above but they went back to 1995 for one song? And it was arguably the worst song on the album? All of the old stuff is untouchable but just as Stryper did, if you are going to do it then do it right. I'm not even mildly interested in this Save the new tracks for a new album. It's not like they are Def Leppard putting out a cd every 4 years.

  14. Anyone else disappointed in the supposed older tracks remade? I was hoping for OLDER tracks....
  15. I actually like every track. Some of their best ballads are on the album as well, semi dark album. I wouldn't take a piss on Euphoria. Adrenalize was ok when it came out but doesn't stand up over time. Let's Get Rocked? Seriously! The best tracks on that album were the Japanese ones that ended up on Retroactive.
  16. Tell us how you really feel!! If I did the server would blow up... I'm okay with that.
  17. Tell us how you really feel!! If I did the server would blow up...
  18. For me it seemed like scraps from the already semi-crappy Adrenalize. I haven't spun this one in years...
