What's the production/sound quality? Is it finished or just rough demos?
I wouldn't mind hearing this...
-Dan
The quality is actually very good...I still think that it might be Hook playing guitar. Doesn't sound like the other guys at all. Shoot me your e-mail Dan and I'll get it to you with everyone else tonight.

After listening to it closer it could have very easily been recorded in 1993 or 1994. I believe they disbanded the first time in 1993 so it's not likely to be after that. I wonder if it's Jason Hook playing on the album? I don't remember it being this good but it is. Unfortuantely I couldnt find a damn thing about the album when I Googled it

I just found it listed in someone's collection online as Just Another Day from 2006, but the official site doesn't have even a passing mention of it. And as for sharing it, why isn't that il-le-gal?
That cd title is correct but I have no other info. Anyone who likes KD will like this cd. 10 tracks total...
What album does it sound like Jarred? And when was it recorded, after Method?
It's really hard to tell. Could have been right after...doesn't sound really old or dated. One things for sure...the tracks all sound from the same time period so I don't believe they are odds n ends. I can send it out if you guys would like. I have a lot of people's email addys from before but send me a PM reminder of which one is yours. I'll send out the files tonight after I get everyone's PM.

Don't be a cunt

LOL!!!!!!!!!! I saw this thread start and just started laughing. Why is it I love Beatles songs when someone else does them? Because yes.......
The Beatles suck ass...period!
-
Holy fuck! This cd is blowing me away...finally...as much as I loved the first three Paul Gilbert albums, this is what I've been waiting for. If you get a chance check out the songs The Last Rock & Roll Star & Waste of Time for some killer guitar licks!!!!

Absolutely awesome man!!!!

it is an irony that here i am arguing that Lennon was more of an Icon than Dime, but i own more Pantera CDs than Beatles CDs
Even more insane is that you keep bringing that name up after 37 people have asked you not to....
As for Dimebag, I can't even put in to words what an impact that night had on me. Everytime I see the documentary I just cry man. Long live one of the best guitarist ever. Cheers...here's a Black Tooth Grin on me bud

im too busy paying tribute to John Lennon with Abbey Road to listen to Pantera...
sure i respect Dime alot, and hes an influence on me, but i think that john Lennons death 28 yaers ago is a more important thing to pay tribute to...
Why?
Sure John Lennon is an icon no doubt but he's an icon to my parents Generation and died when I was 6 years old where Dime was from MY generation and died when I was actually alive. Besides as I mentioned above Pantera was adn Dime was a huge part of my life and their music got me through some dark times. I'm not a Beatles fan at all, sure I respect them, but the point of this thread was to talk about Dime and the mighty Pantera.
I have an easy answer for you. This is a thread for Dimebag...start a Lennon thread if you want to pay tribute to him.

Well, so much for this season...
Congrats on the win Mullet, I was hoping Mason would pull it out for me...
Yeah, I would have rather not played a bud if I'd had my way. You gave me a hell of a scare at the end though. Good game bro!
I hear ya, I was thinking he might do it there for me for a few seconds... in all honesty I'd rather lose a game like that than some of the other situations I've seen this season.
True dat

Years gone by when I was with my ex wife and spending Christmas day at the in-laws, it was customary once dinner was finished to fall asleep in front of the tv.
Or is this a regular occurrence?
One year, about 9 of us were asleep in the lounge, noticed with one eye open before drifting off again!
Umm...yes...after Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter....did I miss anything

Still spinning this in my car this morning and something is obvious.
This was a great CD to have in my car over the weekend - casually driving to the beach or to the shops - short stints here and there, a few songs per drive. But on the way to work this morning, I just wanted a good solid 40min listen that'd kick my ass. That is not this CD.
I don't know, there's still something I almost like about this G N'R album. As I keep saying, it's far from great but I would definitely listen to this over the likes of Valentine - 'Soul Salvation', Shadowman, Overland and those really tired bored sounding AOR albums that get released these day. Don't know how much that says, but I kind of appreciate what's going on on this CD much more than uninspired drivel.
Keep listening....the first few spins for me were good...after that I decided this was a great album. I have played it nonstop for two weeks straight.
Wow, we actually agree on this one, I think it may be a classic, I really do. Fantastic stuff, very dynamic, and very passionate, at least to my ears.
Why is that shocking bro
Yes, I agree...it will be a classic in my house anyway

Saw this on Blabbermouth over the weekend... cool that there's a new Stryper album in the works, I just hope it turns out to be better than REBORN
According to a posting on the STRYPER fan site Stryped Forever, the tentative track listing of STRYPER's new album — which is expected in March 2008 — is as follows:
01. Murder by Pride
02. Eclipse of the Son
03. Mercy Over Blame
04. Run in You
05. Plan
06. 4 Leaf Clover
07. My Everything
08. I'm Alive (Alive)
09. I Believe
10. My Love I'll Always Show (ROXX REGIME/STRYPER remake)
11. Strong (from Michael Sweet's 2003 solo CD single)
12. Miles Away (from Michael Sweet's 2003 solo CD single)
13. Love Is Why
14. Peace of Mind (BOSTON cover; feat. Tom Scholz)
well i think March 08 has come and gone..
He's had a lot on the plate...I'll give him a pass...looking forward to it though!
