  1. yeh but you still dont have the version signed by me! Easily the rarest yet!

Actually, possibly the rarest bon jovi cd is Australian.

It was released by the Jimmy Banres fan club and is a recording of the jam session at the end of the Universal Appeal concert in 2001 where Barnsey played about 4 songs with Bon Jovi. Not sure how many were pressed, but near impossible to get. I've seen selling on ebay boefre and they've gone for about the $125 mark. I'm still looking for this one.

I'm still after New Jersey, Crossroad, Thesedays and S/T from this series if anyone can help.

is that now 13 or 14 copies of Keep the Faith you now own?

i know of 1 version you dont have though..

ok, which one don't I have?

Not sure if it's Slippery or KTF that I have more copies of.

  4. Hey Lindsay,

    any updates on this?

Haven't spoken with craig in probably 6-8 weeks, but last I heard I think craig was sending the recording off to someone in sydney to remaster. He was also digging around for old demos and photos to see what he could add to the package. I'll have to give him a call and find out where it's at.

  5. I've been talking at great length with PJ and I will hopefully have news soon that will come as a breath of fresh air for anyone who has been experiencing difficulty with Kiss My Disc or any of his subsidiary eBay ventures.

    Stay tuned,

    koogs

i hope he can get things sorted cos i've seen quite a few discs listed that I was interested to pick up but after the recent dramas I've passed on them.

I'd really like to see KMD back to it's best.

  6. What the f*ck is up with the 2 guys on the right hand of that picture???!!!

Either way, I'd love to check this out if I can find it. :)

go easy on the blonde guy... he just needs a hug, ... and some sleep, and to stop getting bashed by the bruiser on the right..

I was speaking to the fella on the extreme left after the show and told him that they could improve their image if the bassist lost the tie and the baseball cap.

  7. Another band that knew EMO is dying, jump on the sleaze/glam bandwagon. Just like Lee Harding, ex Australian Idol, gonna from a punk wanna be to glam/sleaze superstar.

I see what you mean, but these guys actually deliver. And I think the line-up changes may have had something to do with the change in direction.

Afterall, emo punk is probably bigger in this town than sleaze metal. There are only 2 bands I can think of in Adelaide playing sleaze metal, and I can probably point out 20 emo punk bands. If they all convert and could be this good, I'll be a happy man.

I haven't been able to get thier EP out of my cd player for the last 3-4 days. Of the 5 tracks, 4 are killer... and the 5th is quite good aswell.

  8. I first saw these guys about a year ago and they seemed to be more of an emo punk band. I saw them again on the weekend and what a change.. a few line-up changes, the shirts and ties replaced with motly shirts, and focused more on a sleaze metal sound.

Aggressive vocals and big guitars. They belted out a great set of sleaze metal that would be appreciated by fans of Crystal Pistol, Crank County Daredevils, Vains of Jenna, Starrats.

I picked up their ep at the time and it impressed me no end. Definitely worth checking out if you liek the bands above.... especially Starrats and Crank County. A few track on their myspace.

  9. There will always be artists who are on "the fringe" of what is acceptable, or they may have one or two albums out of an entire discography that are suitable (for example, the glam-era Pantera albums are included here).

Were these ever actually released (officially) on CD?

  10. I didn't even think of it at the time (sitting in bed at 11:00pm at night) but damn I wish I'd been drinking when Australia played England in the World Cup.

Would have lessened the obvious deep felt pain watching Englands marvellous victory (did I say AGAIN). You could have drunk some of that wine made from sour grapes as well. :rofl2:

Marvellous victory? Mate... are you serious? The only marvellous or victorious thing about the entire game was the fact Lote Tuqiri managed to score a try in that trainwreck of a game.

And yeah, these sour grapes are delicious... still got some life in 'em yet. :D

Any victory over the the Aussies is a marvellous thing to behold in my book!

I guess it doesn't happen often, so enjoy it while it lasts. I'm sure we'll beat you in something else in a few hours. Like being awesome. :)

    :rofl2: Now that was funny.

Truth is a funny lil' thing. :)

..Didn't take long for you lot to lose at another sport - Bashed by the Indians at Cricket now -Oh how I am fucking loving this. Ohhh sorry I forgot - another sport that you don't care about either. Please tell - which sports that other countries play do you actually like - I hear your Crown Green Bowling team are on the way up.

Ummm... we actually lead the series against the indians.

Had we won this game the series would have been over.

With all the millions at stake from a dead seires I'm guessing that why Tendulkar was give not out on 3 occassions before he reached 5. I cannot believe the decisions he received...?!?!!?!?

The only way they could save the series was to keep their star at the crease. Pressure on the umps was my guess.

  11. I reckon we should weild the axe ona heap of the acts getting included on HH.

Or drop "heavy" from the title and just call it "harmonies".

Sure, not everything on the main site is "heavy", but those that aren't heavy atelast have their roots in from the rock era of the 80's.

For example, ... Bon Jovi once a hard rock band, now just a radio rock band would still qualify based on their past, but a band never having had any ties with the hard/melodic/glam rock scene should not appear.

    Just my 2c.

BTW, did you read what the Bonnie Tyler thread was about?

    This exactly.
