Hi Everyone. Here is an update from Stephen the CEO of Eonian Records. Stephen and I are personal friends and Stephen took a break this past year to recharge his batteries (so to speak). A new website is fourth coming early Summer 2014, two new signings in Cold Shot and Hans Naughty (2 CD's), and a two volume/8 disc collection with 80 bands/160 songs/120 page booklet of Hollywood Sunset Strip bands all digitally remastered with a page dedicated to each band. Right on both counts....the Reckless Love is all their E.P.'s originally released by the band off their website. I have their E.P.'s and told Olli about this...he told me that whoever is releasing the songs are doing so illegally without the bands permission. Same with the Sister cd...I also have these from the band...and they have said the same. Most of the list have never ever been released..as they were only on cassette or Vinyl and the person does not have authorization or permission by the Artists. Some have been released on cd but by Retrospect records. Be very Aware...these are illegal releases and cheap bootlegs..no value in the long run.

Wow...the guy is making money and robbing the Artist...I have the Rhoades Vinyl Album....which never see the light of day on cd...mine is in Mint condition...someone offered me $2,500 US for it.

These are bootlegs - cd-r's...The triple Threat was only released as a cassette (I have the cassette)...Fortress was only released on Vinyl...same with Hawkey...never officially released same for Picture perfect. Hail Mary was on vinyl and cassette. The guy in Brazil I heard of who got all this stuff from a collector in the US and just transferred and converted all to cd. Beware buyers. The bands have never authorized these releases. I have most of these on original cassette and Vinyl.

I hope not....Johnny sent in enough material for two cd's....hope the rest of the demos are released to....and also the 3 song Legend demo with the great live show Johnny has....make it a limited edition run...I'll buy 2 copies....

I am not disappointed with my TARRGA and Stutz....both my favs...to me it is not the question of sound it is just having these tunes in my collection..TARRGA was on my want list for years...

I agree TARRGA is awesome as well as the Stutz release...have them all !

Seems like more bands are releasing their material via cd-r's. I bought a cd by a band that they released and it was a cd-r. cheers

I have had no issues with FnA, Retrospect and Eonian.....all my orders arrived on time and safely. I am looking forward to more new releases that never ever got released in 2014.

hey Sam....if you sign them.....it would be the signing of the year...they already said no to a few labels....let me know if you succeed. And get those new cd's released by Runaway, Airstrike, Fortress(kc band) and tons more.... cheers bro.

Great news.......I know what is coming down the pipeline....be prepared everyone:)

John...somebody should get James to put out all the demo plus live cd and dvd of Maxx Thrust...would look great on FnA records.

A lot of the Retro releases i did on cd-r from 2005-2006 are going for bank on eGay - so I wouldnt say they are worth pennies. What I mean is CDR's themselves are worth pennies, and thats how much it would cost me to burn it myself. Its the same reason why I dont want to be restricted to download only availability. If I am spending £10-£15 on an album, I dont want CDR's or digital files, I want a physical CD thats pressed properly. I guess u will be missing out on a lot of great releases and rarities coming out in the next while.....enjoy:)

I agree Sam...most small labels and others release CD'R's also at the request of the artist...I am see an increase in bands from the 80's also releasing their material on cd'r similar to McQueen St's second cd. I have cdr's that I am playing to this day...awesome sound from 13 years ago....

Good to hear all the great comments and feedback.......I agree with everyone....the Seller must put a proper description...either a silver pressed cd, or a silver bottom cd-r, or a Bootleg.....then it would be up to the individual to purchase the Product. keep Rock n Roll first:)

I am a supporter of Silver disc...bootlegs and cd-r's....and I sure a majority of collectors have them in their collection. I agree it is a cool silver looking cd......I heard that David Shaw knows about this....a few years ago..and that Joey was going to officially release it...but the deal fell through as Joey was asking to much money for the release....to each his own......lets enjoy the songs and music in one form or another....Keep rock n roll 1st and play it LOUD!!!

So it is a bootleg...big deal.....any of you have the silver pressed original release.????

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts..opinions either good or bad......lets enjoy the music out there and it is up to each of us as individuals to ask the record label about the product and for them to properly label the product. Cheerz:)
