John Carter - it was an ok movie. too long and drawn out. Star Wars meets Avatar meets Ancient Rome was the feeeling I came away with. I may watch it again at some time.

there was something that happened today that really made me step back and think about my life and how old I must be getting. I had this kid that works for me in electronics and today he came up to me and asked me something. I fired back being the sarcastic guy i am and totaly ignored his question and asked if he was taking a break, then asked him where his name badge is. a couple more things were said joking around and then he told me that he had just quit. He had joined the Army and he needed Tomorrow off for something he had to go do with joining the Army. He said they wouldn't work with him to get the day off but I don't think he really tried very hard either. Then as he was walking away I had to chase him down to say thanks for the work he had done and wish him safety and the best. Him and another guy in the department were talking and they told me they and yet another guy were just talking about how they look at me like a FATHER FIGURE!!!!!! flattered and taken aback at the thought of these young men look at me like a father figure. Crap, it use to be older brother now it is FATHER FIGURE!!!!!!! could be worse I guess, they could hate my guts. I guess as a supervisor if I compared myself to the NFL I would be a Tony Dungy type.

Yeah it was something that was speculated upon on another forum, I pretty much just passed it along. As you say, it doesn't really makes sense for him to withould that information for the rest of the group. The pregnant thing is more likely. I'm just so happy that Shane and his destructive ways are finally gone,hopefully this will leave more space for other characters,like Daryl. I think him and Rick would make a good team! yeah, I don't think there is any way that he knew you could turn without being bitten or he never would have turned his back on Shane like that .

I don't have facebook so I'm just going by browsing facebook, but it seems messageboards are a lot better for debate and discussion. Facebook is more of what you may text someone or thinking you are so important that everyone wants to know what you are eating for dinner, where you are eating. what time you got up or a bunch of other stuff. just my opinion by looking around. Messageboards you seem to have more meaniful discussions and debates. more in depth stuff. Edit: the way this read after I re-read it I must rework some stuff. I do see how facebook does / can have it's good points.

I really like The Firm and Alcatraz. lost interest in The River pretty quick. I like Awake also and they don't give it a snowballs chance.

If the shows I watch on Animal Planet are to be believed, then just about every wild creature in Australia is lethal to humans. Between the spiders, snakes, crocodiles, sharks, and God knows what else, it makes me wonder how people have survived there for so long. Dropbears. We have those too. you don't have WOODBOOGERS. my area has the market cornered on them.

I got this when it came out expecting something I couldn't wait to play again and agian. what I got was a shock. I guess I would related it to getting the Shaw-Blades cd and expecting something close to Damn Yankees. i've been watching the River but it has just about lost me. I'm a little sad because looks like The Firm is getting canceled. I really liked that one. Alcatraz is cool. I like Lost Girl too.
