  1. this isn't too awful. starts out broadway and tried to kick it into a rock tune a bit into it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlptWs2Kxgo&ob=av2e
  2. wow, this is a monster of an album. I can hear classic Trixter in this, you just have to catch it and know what to listen for, but they have also grown from the teen (early) years. I think if it hadnt been 20 years since we heard stuff from these guys the sound of this album wouldn't be so different from what we knew. that is 20 years of growing and changing that we didn't really get to hear. I think that this album is just smoking. I have one low spot for me on the disc and that would be the song Physical Attraction, it just doesn't do much for me. The rest of the album I just love. listen to it 3 times straight. can't remember the last time, wait, maybe the new Jack Blades I listen to 3 times straight too, but that is rare now a days. Serious, I love the way they have the classic Trixter sound mixed in here with growth the guys have done. first time I did't really hear it. I was like "if you put this on and made me guess I'd never guess Trixter. the more I listen the more it is just a great TRIXTER album. I will give it a solid A
  3. HE JUST got invited to the Bills camp
  4. I guess it is the same thing as with many other bands. Brand Name and Touring. with the name Great White you are sure to pull in many more fans than if you use the name Blue Ocean Predator or something. only the biggest and most loyal fans would know who the band is.
  5. You never mentioned what the problem was in your original post. Knowing now that you had a tacky residue helps. I think what happened is the first cleaner you used left a residue that you didn't get completely removed. Then when you used the armor all you still had the residue on there from the original cleaner. I would suggest using ivory soap (or whatever soap I suppose, I just happened to use ivory) mixed w/warm water to get the original left over residue off then hit it with the armor all. I've been using armor all for decades on all sorts of leather seats with zero problems. I have had problem like you mentioned when I have used leather cleaners that were sold to me with a new car package and the soap/warm water worked great. Hope that helps. I did that yesterday with some dish detergent but it is pretty cheap detergent. I may go with something stronger. funny thing is that the back seats don't seem to do this but then again I don't really sit back there. so next pretty day I will use a better soap cleaner and redo the armor all. thanks, I've never had this problem. with the mustang it didn't have leather seat but vinyl and years and years of cleaning them I've never had problems
  6. well, I need a little advice. you know I was having a problem with my interior. I switched to good ol' Armor All because I've had luck with it in the past also. Well same thing is happening. the seat become tacky and I don't know what to do to fix this. Maybe it is cheap leather or something?? the wife's car doesn't do this at all.

  10. awesome, we have been working on the OL. I haven't paid attention but that shut-down corner from I think Nebraska that got arrested a week before the draft, is he still out there or has be been taken?
  11. Yeah, I really like the beef and punch on the guitars and production--this thing sounds really good! Personally, I thought Loran sounded just fine, so I wouldn't call his vocals weak. And for me, a 7/10 rating means the album just crosses the line into worthiness territory...anything less than that usually means I wouldn't bother. In my mind, despite its flaws, this CD is worth owning, though you will definitely need to use the Skip button more than once or twice. so, is this part Trixter and part 40ft Ringo? if so and I go into it with that expectation I will love this
  12. Another Earth - nothing like I thought it was going to be. I was expecting a sci-fi kind of movie and I got something totaly different. kind of slow and plodding and nothing happens but I had to watch it because the way it was done I had to see where it was going to go. I guess it is more of a twised love story than anything. nothing I'd say go out and find, you have to see this but I've seen worse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlPfAYpnpuw
  13. I noticed yesterday that Johnny only had a hand in writing 3 songs on this album

  20. Army Cancels Ted Nugent's Performance At Fort Knox Over Obama CommentsBy Chelsea J. Carter CNN POSTED: 2:46 am EDT April 22, 2012 EmailPrintAAAText SizeUPDATED: 6:05 am EDT April 22, 2012 Steve Marcus/Reuters (CNN) -- It's lights out on Ted Nugent's scheduled performance at an Army base in Kentucky. Commanders at Fort Knox have decided against allowing the "Motor City Madman" to take the stage at the base in June, the latest fallout over Nugent's comments that he would be "dead or in jail" if President Barack Obama were re-elected. "After learning of opening act Ted Nugent's recent public comments about the president of the United States, Fort Knox leadership decided to cancel his performance on the installation," according to an announcement posted Saturday on the base's Facebook page. The concert at the base is part of the "Midwest Rock n' Roll Express" tour featuring co-headliners Nugent, REO Speedwagon and Styx. "Army Entertainment and the Fort Knox Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation remain committed to carrying out the June 23 concert, and the possibility exists that a replacement will be selected," the announcement said. It was not immediately clear whether Styx or REO Speedwagon planned to carry on with their scheduled performance. Nugent and Fort Knox public affairs officials did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment. Response to the announcement was mixed, with more than 1,000 people weighing in with comments. "I feel they had little choice after the comments Ted Nugent made at the NRA convention. As president, Obama is their commander-in-chief," Carrie Peterson wrote on Facebook in response to the announcement. Some urged the soldiers and their families to boycott the concert, while others urged Styx and REO Speedwagon to pull out of the show if Nugent is not allowed to perform. Still others were angry at the base commanders. "I'm very disappointed to hear that you canceled Ted Nugent - this man is a patriot and embodies the spirit of the 2nd amendment, one of our constitutional rights. I believe that the US Army is around to fight for our constitution and our rights. As a former US Army soldier, I am ashamed of your actions here," Michael Edgerly wrote in his post. On Thursday, the Secret Service said it resolved questions regarding comments that Nugent, a conservative activist and gun rights advocate, made about Obama during a speech at an NRA convention in St. Louis, Missouri. "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year," Nugent said, according to a video that the NRA posted on YouTube. "If you can't go home and get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration, I don't even know what you're made out of." The video has since been removed. Many have questioned whether Nugent was alluding to violence against the president. Nugent issued a statement confirming his meeting and describing it as a "good, solid, professional meeting concluding that I have never made any threats of violence towards anyone." News of the canceled concert came a day after Nugent agreed to pay a fine, serve probation and record a public service announcement as part of a deal to plead guilty to transporting an illegally killed black bear in Alaska. The plea deal, filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage, Alaska, stems from federal allegations that arose during a bear hunt in May 2009 that was filmed for Nugent's television show, "Spirit of the Wild," on the Outdoor Channel. In the plea agreement, Nugent admitted to shooting and killing a bear using a bow and arrow during a hunt on Sukkwan Island in southeast Alaska, just days after he wounded another bear. Alaska limits licensed hunters to the bagging of one bear per hunting season. Under the law, the wounding of a bear counts toward the season's bag limit. Nugent gained musical fame in the 1960s as a member of the psychedelic band The Amboy Dukes, then as a solo act in the 1970s and later as a member of the 1980s supergroup Damn Yankees. He is probably best known for the1977 rock anthem, "Cat Scratch Fever."
  21. let me help you with DriveTrain. It is awful. the worst cd in their history by far. there are 2 good songs on it. There are also 2 songs on it that they have had out before but they re-recorded them and screwed them up. The Squeeze was the single they put out when Don first came back to the band (and the b-side was the really good I Fall Back) and Trooper With An Attitude was from the movie Super Troopers. both were much better the first time around. now that you have no expectations for drivetrain maybe you will find some enjoyment in it because I've set the bar so low. When it first came out I was such a fanboy because I had an album of new material but that soon wore off and I changed my opinoin.

While out I stopped in our local game store. looking at their used CD's and found this cd for $1.99. I didn't get it but I use to love the "hit" song off of it. I've heard the whole thing is pretty good but I was just a little gun shy and didn't get it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFpsDAL4oKE
