I'm suprised that was in a used cd shop I was sure that I was the only one that bought that one. Uh oh, did I gets me a stinker? Haven't heard much about it but I thought Part 2 was the one to avoid. I don't think it's a stinker it is a grower imo. I think it has a lot of great songs and "What I'll never find" is a great ballad. Part 2 isnt that bad its just not as good as Part 1 imo. Blackie would of been better off just making it one cd. You know, I like both albums. Like Wes said, they are growers. Blackie does not put out bad stuff.

No they changed their name to Roadstar and have release two albums, "Grand Hotel" and one other. So are the albums any good Wes? The EP is awesome! Jez rates 'em.....but I think the band might have split up just after the release of Grand Hotel .... bit unsure if they have or not. Jez? Yep - They have now split - right after the releases of their 2nd album 'Glass Mountain'. Both discs are great especially 'Glass Mountain' which I think is much the better of the 2, But if you like the 'Get This' EP. you are sure to like both of 'em. Thanks Guys. I will have to try and find the albums. I dig their sound.

As I sat at my office yesterday listening to Dirty Penny my exact thought was "Damn, these guys could be the American version of CrashDiet!" . While CrashDiet leans a little more to the melodic side of sleaze, and Dirty Penny leans more to the raw, dirty side of things, the similarities are undeniably there. BTW...Dirty Penny ~ Take It Sleezy = Great f'n CD! Backed.
