  1. Carl's best friend is Lenny. The boy who cried... Wolf. Hallowed be thy name. Thy KINGDOM COME. .sigh.
  2. Ok even more clues. Carl's best friend the boy who cried ... and hallowed be thy name.
  3. Nope you will kick yourself when it is guessed.
  4. The boy who cried... "hallowed be thy name".
  5. Haven't really enjoyed Tourniquet since Guy Ritter left. His vocals along with Gary Lenaire's technichal prowess really made the band for me. Nothing beats the first trilogy of albums. If you haven't already got it, you might like the Flood "Polarised" album that came out in 2022. It has both Guy and Gary Lenaire in the band. Sounds much more like the classic Tourniquet sound.
  6. Crazy Lixx - Two Shots at Glory Gotthard - Lipservice Judas Priest - Invincible Shield (Pre-order) Cutting Crew - Broadcast Lacuna Coil - Comalies INXS - Shabooh Shoobah (Remaster) Mi-Sex - Graffiti Crimes Liam Gallagher & John Squire - S/T (Pre-order)
  7. Yeah I read this too. Sad news for him and his family.
  8. You coming up for air from under your sheets, Doggy? 😉
  9. Vandenberg - Sin Chicago - The Chicago Story (2 CD) Megadeth - So Far, So Good, So What? (Expanded) The Allman Betts Band - Down to the River Mike Oldfield - Five Miles Out (Remaster) Buckingham & McVie - S/T Michael Hutchence - S/T Roxy Music - Stranded (Remaster) Echo & the Bunnymen - Reverberation Echo & the Bunnymen - Evergreen (Expanded)
  10. Mine arrived today in the post. Not bad for postage time to Australia! How cool is the bonus silver embossed cover art card? I put it in the front of the CD and it looks absolutely sweet. Gonna play this LOUD now.
  11. It is very poor language. It reads like John is never-ending, which makes absolutely no sense at all. I suppose they meant the dream is never-ending. In that case the band name should be John's Never-ending Dream. Still a stupid name, but at least it would be grammatically correct.
  12. Good call. He's a bloody good keyboard maestro let's be fair.
  13. Vinyl only bonus tracks pisses me off. Why? A cd could fit the bonus tracks far easier. Jerks. I'm annoyed about that.
  14. Agree they are nothing alike. All are called "grunge" but all have different sounds and influences. Soundgarden have a classic metal influence (i.e. Sabbath) whereas Nirvana have a punk/hardcore and alt. rock influence (i.e. Melvins) and Pearl Jam has a classic hard rock influence (i.e. Guess Who). They just came out of the same area/scene and didn't dress glam so got lumped together.
  15. "a shadow of themselves" is not preferring one over another singer, it is stating that the band is nothing like itself even though the band was around before your favourite singer was even in the band. That is why it is a ridiculous comment. Shouldn't be hard even for you to understand, Tobi.
  16. Followed them from the start. Hopefully they keep going strong.
  17. There are some Erik fanboys on here that worship him like crazy. Heat were around before Erik and after Erik. To say they are a shadow of themselves with Kenny is plainly ridiculous.
  18. Notorious - Marching On Bryan Adams - Unplugged Nazareth - Hair of the Dog (Expanded) The Rolling Stones - Hackney Diamonds (Live Edition) Mike Oldfield - Crises (Remaster) Mike Oldfield - Platinum (Remaster)
  19. Rex Carroll was in a band before Whitecross but I can't remember who they are, and I think they got back together and recently released an album. Wish I could remember their name and if the album was any good.
  20. Nope. No confirmation. Just an email confirming the order.
  21. Did it still have the 3-D glasses inside? Nice find. I love that album.
  22. In some ways I am a little jealous of the older artists. They will be remembered long after death cause there are still people who listen to their recordings long after they die. For the rest of us, once we die we are remembered by our kids and sometimes grandkids if you had your kids early enough to be around for grandkids (soon to be rarer with many only having kids in their 40s). After that we are Dust in the Wind, as is written in the immortal Kansas song.
