I have Dragon's Kiss, Music For Speeding and Loudspeaker from Marty, but lost interest in his stuff starting with Future Addict. This lead track for the upcoming album sounds cool though
-
I'm really liking this and i am also waiting for the cd. Hopefully it will be out soon.
edit: you now get a CD here:
Thanks for sharing grissolm

Sounds more melodic than what I remember hearing from Wednesday or the Murderdolls in the past. I like the track What the Night Brings.
-
The write up on this one sounds interesting. At first I thought the guy kneeling was actor Kevin Bacon.
-
Solid tune in my opinion, and the recording sounds good for an indie release. It is cool to see a band stay in contact with each other despite the years and distance between them and put something together like this.

Something just flashed up on my Facebook feed about LA Guns. Looks like there may be a new album from the Guns/Lewis version coming shortly.
Can't find it now but think it's a frontiers release.
I think you're right, I recall reading somewhere that it was supposed to be on the Frontiers label and the title was The Missing Peace. I'm hoping their renewed collaboration brings out the best in them and results in something as good as Waking the Dead

I am fairly new to the forum, but I figured people were just bumping threads with topics that they had some interest in or questions about. I personally enjoy seeing some of the old comments since the discussions are new to me, but whenever I log on I first change my sort to Start Date of threads to check out the more recent posts

Did this one every get reissued (other than the Retrospect Records one)? I'd love to pick up a copy of and have been waiting on this post since it was created. If it is available, where can I get it at?
Unfortunately I don't think it has been reissued on cd outside of that Retrospect Records version. Hopefully someone will consider giving it a proper release in the near future as I would be interested in getting a copy as well.

From their FaceTubes:
ATTN VIDEOGRAPHERS!! We are looking for someone to join us in Montreal June 22nd - 24th to film our practices, live show, and some candid moments. Please comment with your portfolio/reel and your gear list. Thanks!!
Interesting, I didn't see many comments about the bands status on their page, but hopefully it is more than a one time reunion gig.

I really should like this one. Can't get to really like it though.
The singer's not trying to show how incredible his voice is as much as he did on the first but it lacks something.
I felt the same with this, well played, nice production, good singer, a solid album but lacked a couple killer tunes that would have pushed it over the top for me
-
New one for me, not bad, a little mellower than I expected from the band photos, thanks for bumping the post and adding the tracks
-
Sounds pretty solid I didn't realize it was Simon Daniels on vocals until I found another post of him doing One More Time solo acoustic just now, interesting project, too bad the album got shelved.
-
I thought the last one was alright. The samples were rather short for this new one but I'll keep an eye out for a track or two on youtube

From the album 'Waves' due out June 3rd.....
Nice tune

From the band's facebook page:
PAINFUL PRIDE was formed in 1983 in the underground metal scene of Sweden. Until 1987, when the band split up, they recorded few tunes that were never released, and from that moment and on, they got together occasionally just for some gigs (1988, 1999) since there was a fan-base from those who knew them. In 2009, PAINFUL PRIDE decided to record some more demos again, and in 2013 they returned in full-force with their best line-up to date and the decision to record (at last!) their first album. The debut album "Lost Memories" is released via No Remorse Records on February 17th, 2017. -
Hardly a return to their 80's sound.
agreed, not horrible, but not what I'm expecting to hear when I put on a Great White album
-
Isnt he in the reboot of Shotgun Messiah also?
good memory, I remember them talking about playing a few shows to celebrate the anniversary of Shotgun's debut with Chris joining Zinny and Stixx, but I never heard much as to how the performances were though
-
I really liked their first 3 albums, but his voice is really shot these days, what a shame they never found more success early on
-
That is very sad news. He was a great songwriter and will be missed. Midnight Rider and I'm No Angel were probably my favorites of his.

Thank you guys- miles away was the song I was interested in. Is that it's title because I can't find any loud and clear song with that title.
I am pretty sure Miles Away is the title of that song. It may not have been officially released outside of that video. I believe most of the tracks that were on their self titled debut were originally recorded between 89-91. I'd guess that Miles Away and Burnin' Down The Night were a few of the early recordings from that timeframe, but didn't make the final cut for that debut cd.
-
Was there a song on 23-19... oh yeah. I got distracted especially when the photographer said "you can move your left breast over".
Anyway, I think the song was Burning Down the Night. But I don't think that it's the British band Shogun.
I'm with you George, I was too distracted by the video to pay attention to the background music. But, to help out, yes the songs played on this video are from the band Loud n Clear. Including Miles Away with the young lady on the horse at around 19:23 and Burning Down the Night played in the sequence with the young lady at the swimming hole around 23:19.
