  1. Of course and through their website looks as if they have more than a couple releases over the last handful of years.
  2. Indeed! https://www.facebook.com/KingBirdBand http://www.kingbird.com.br/index.php
  3. Works for me! https://www.facebook.com/misspepperrock/
  4. A fine lot of tunes from the debut long play (they have a previous EP) from this Australian traditional metal band. https://www.facebook.com/espionageband/
  5. Listened/ing to that Hold Me Closer song over and over and it is certainly well on its way to song of the year. As for the voice I am trying to place it, could be BC, almost hear some Dio and even Dickenson in there too.
  6. Watched this as well and it wasn't bad but as mentioned in one ear and out the other. The Rock did play up the part of lovable lump though.
  7. Bad Mankeys-Case Conflict (x2)(Band Signed) Wings of Pegasus-Persistence (Signed)
  8. Love this band as is already known. Many hate Jakob's voice but not I. The whole lot of them are cool as cool. Can't wait for this album.
  9. The guitar playing on that Inferno track is very impressive and I quite like it.
  10. Over the past few nights: Popstar- Its OK. Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates- As with Postar it too is OK, some laughable moments but very forced and Anna Kendrick is just barf on every level.
  11. Second release out now for this indie alt metal band from Florida. Nice clean vox (mostly) and gobs of distortion. https://www.facebook.com/DarkSummerFL
  12. Well hear is a Welsh band that should appeal to some fans of modern rock. Massive production on this one and as mentioned harmless modern rock that sounds familiar to me, maybe like a Goo Goo Dolls or something.!? https://www.facebook.com/thosedamncrows http://thosedamncrows.com/
  13. Unfortunately I read that LSB is no more. Shame as this debut is amazing and the boys have such potential. I hope they resurface somewhere... Posted August 22nd on their FB: When we started this band nearly 4 years ago, we had one goal in mind. That was to create our own unique brand of rock music that we felt was missing in modern music. This goal materialized in the form of our debut album. It took three tries to make, but after two years of carefully crafting the sound in our heads, we finally had a collection of songs that we could be proud of. As we’ve grown as a band over the years, we’ve also grown creatively in different directions as individuals. During our recent shows and writing sessions, it’s become apparent that sacrifices have to be made creatively to retain the dynamic that made Lamp Shade Betty work in the beginning. In order to be true to ourselves as musicians, we have decided to call it quits. The decision is amicable. We all remain great friends, but we will no longer be sharing a stage together. Our music has allowed us to travel across the country, play major music festivals, hear our songs on the radio, come face to face with our musical idols, and meet so many truly incredible people along the way. We’d like to thank you all for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown over the past 4 years! It’s time to start a new chapter in our lives, but we have so many amazing memories to look back on! We will be playing our album in its entirety one last time this Friday, August 26th @ The Fine Line in Minneapolis in support of our friends, The Missing Letters, CD release. Farewell & keep on rocking! ~Lamp Shade Betty
  14. This band has some new music out. http://www.voodoovegas.com/ https://www.facebook.com/VoodooVegas And I must say that guitarist Meryl not only shreds but is stunning.

  16. Hard rock band from Texas with some modern overtones, nice song the I Hate You and the band as a whole appears to have been around for a bit. Didn't see anything about them elsewhere here so here you go! https://www.facebook.com/rockettqueen/ http://splash.rockettqueen.net/
  17. So before you all get your knickers all knotted up, this is NOT my favorite genre of music. Now a good lot of the music is listenable with some excellent clean harmonies, HOWEVER the screamo element is not my bag. That said this lot has a cool name and this video for Glass Kingdom pays homage to some nifty 80's video elements. From the head windmill to those Cinderella guitar throws around the body (2:23). Again lead vocally no thanks but a fun nod to the old school from a band that I am sure many Jr. High Schooler's are poppin' chubbies for. https://www.facebook.com/sharkinfesteddaughters
  18. Nicely done 80's fueled metal from Greece and yes it is sung in English. This album entitled Tortured Souls dropped last spring. https://www.facebook.com/Dark-Nightmare-130420970323557/
  19. Very proficiently executed power/prog/symph metal from Venezuela and yes haters they sing in espaniol but who cares as it rips! https://www.facebook.com/WolfanG.Oficial/ https://soundcloud.com/wolfang-oficial
  20. Hey no worries and I did to, had to go deep deep into the Google and make some leaps to get there. SO how was the show? Sounds like the audience was a who's who of then rock stars including the Beetles themselves.
  21. Good stuff. The Bobbi Brown cameo is nice! As she is still worthy.
  22. Well it took a little leg work but I believe it to be this: From what I have read this show ran for about six weeks at the Beacon and the last show was ironically or not New Years Eve 1974. Quote from this article,http://www.meetthebeatlesforreal.com/2014/02/before-there-was-beatles-love-in-las.html : "It was a sad day for us all indeed when, on New Year’s Eve, the closing notice for “Sgt. Pepper” was posted on the call board backstage at the Beacon Theatre. Reasons for the closing were never articulated t the members of the cast, but all plans for the tour were also shelved, and so in early January of 1975, the last performance of “Sgt. Pepper” became a beautiful memory for us all."
  23. Wow a mystery New Years Eve show. No help from me but a cool mystery nonetheless.
