Didn't see anything on this Salt Lake City Utah band, this release is older from '2011's Feeding The Addiction but worthy of a mention for fans of the genre. "Cheap & Nasty" features Martin Sweet & Peter London (from CRASHDÏET) and James Perry (from Tragic Black, Redemption (Bound), & La Decollatage) on Backing Vocals. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Corvid/370510064243
  3. Some fun glam rock here boys and girls. https://www.facebook.com/jollyjokerband/ http://www.jollyjoker.es/ From 2012/2014's release Sex, Booze and Tattoos From 2015's Here Come...The Jokers! Some random earlier stuff from 2010 I think: I like that they are using the Fatal Smile drum kit in this one... Pretty Boy Floyd cover:
  4. A little light in the loafers but quality nonetheless.
  5. I saw (most) of that yesterday. Came across it channel surfing. Weird movie... Weird possibly but very good.
  6. Jurassic World Nice addition to the franchise. Nothing new as is said around these parts but why steer away from the horse that brought you. Dinosaurs, people, screaming running people, dinosaurs eating screaming running people... works just fine for me.
  7. Movie night for Helloween.. Pixels for the kids. As expected from Adam Sandler. Harmless family fodder. Entourage and Spy. Entourage was excellent. Spy, I'm not grasping the appeal of this McCarthy women she is not funny.
  8. Not sure if this is the same FH that Geoff was talking about back in 2006, but I didn't see any other mention of this Dutch/Polish Hard Rock band elsewhere... https://www.facebook.com/faithhealerbandofficial FAITH HEALER is a modern hard rock band established in 2014 by Dutch legendary guitarist Peter Bourbon of Picture, Vengeance and many more. Joined by extremely talented crew of Dennis Geraads (drummer, producer, sound engineer and owner of the Skillz Drums Academy), Peter Rovers (bass), Marc Meesters (guitarist and singer) also decided to work with young polish hard rock & heavy metal vocalist - Zinny Zalesky (Piotr 'Zinny' Zaleski) well known by his expressive frontman image and great vocal range. First long play recorded in Swalmen, the Netherlands (Double Double U Studio) in 2014. Turn Up Sound will have its premiere in september 2014 along with the full band video and it's a first official release for FAITH HEALER. The band gathers a lot of experience, great range of inspirations, music skills and true rock image. Hard rock fans can well expect the results of these sessions to be truly outstanding! http://www.rvprecords.com/store-faithhealer.php

  11. Didn't see anything on these guys either. Fair to midland Parisian modernish hard rock. Going to have to listen to some more for sure but the video for Aphrodisiac Cadillac off the just released Bete Noir is nice! https://www.facebook.com/HOAR.official http://www.hellofaride.fr/ From 2012, i appreciate their liberal use of attractive ladies in their videos...
  12. Well we shall see how these dudes fare. I find the song rather appealing. Nice and heavy with a some sleaze undertones and strong vocals. Northampton rockers STORMBRINGER first came together in the summer of 2011 after several beers and a meeting of members from Deadeye, Nekkrosis and Viking Skull. The four members very quickly had a full albums worth of material and inspiration was at a high, then they brought on board Mike Stockley in the winter of 2012 and he laid down the vocals for their debut album ‘MMXIII. Mike was exactly what the band were looking for, a classic rock voice with a contemporary edge and a lyrical ability that was perfect for the sound the band had created. After successful years of gigging, including shows at Download Festival and the main stage at Bloodstock Open Air Festival, Mike sadly had other commitments and had to part ways with the band. After auditioning relentlessly they found Jimi Brown - formerly of Burn City Burn, and it was clear, even after the first audition, that this was the guy for the job. Jimi has proved himself as both a natural talent, a stand-out stage performer, and a stunning recording artist which was made evident with his performance on Stormbringer’s second release ‘Blood and Rust’, due out in October 2015. The band live by their mission statement “to rock as hard as we can, wherever we can and have a good time doing it”. A must-see live show, which takes no prisoners and will absolutely not disappoint! STORMBRINGER are gearing up for the release of their fabulous second album 'Blood And Rust' in October and have just released their video for the first single from it, the storming 'Bad Blood'. This album kicks out a monster slice of rock and metal, chunky riffs galore with a head shaking, foot stomping groove at its heart and a twinkle in the eye! If you've never heard STORMBRINGER before, you're in for a rock n roll treat, stick it on, turn it up and play LOUD!! https://www.facebook.com/Stormbringerrock http://www.bringthestorm.com/
  13. Well here is an Auzzie band that should interest the AC/DC, Airborne, Jackal, Supagroup, (Et al) fans out there. http://www.thelazysmusic.com/ https://www.facebook.com/thelazys/ Some older stuff:
