My favorite song from them
Very close to my favourite from this album would be "Down 2 Bizniz".
Perfect Sleaze.
I would have posted it long if it was on youtube.

Gotthard.
Favourite track is not easy, but I'll go with... The Cruiser (Judgement Day).

Yeah, one of the beacons of light in the dark ages.

I got curious and started thinking it's kind of odd that I watch Aussies Today, I think I have a mancrush on Karl, that dude is full pimp mode, do any Aussies or Brits, or our friends in Finland, do any of you watch US or Canadian shows? just curious.
Yeah.
I leave for work well before "Today" or "Sunrise" (the other main Aussie morning show), but most mornings I watch the USA Today show, which is on here in the early hours.
I used to flick between that and Good Morning America, but we don't get GMA here now.
I miss Ginger Zee.

At the end of the day, Joe Rogan made a public comment. He was questioned about the accuracy of that comment publicly. He then proceeded to fact check his comment and concede that he was wrong, again, all publicly.
If he had doubled down after checking, then fair enough, but I honestly don't understand the controversy.
Let me phrase the above paragraph differently.
You made a comment. You were questioned about the accuracy of that comment. You then proceed to fact check your comment and concede that you were wrong.
We've all been there. That's life.

Easy one for me.
Gotthard and "I Wonder".

Jeez mate, heading to work at 5am, that's the middle of the night...
Yeah, we start at 6am, but the bright side is that we finish at 2pm.
By 3pm, I'm home.
I also avoid the peak hour traffic both ways.

Wow.
Didn't know this was a thing at all.
Thanks for the heads up DP.
I'm not overly impressed with that track, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

re D2 different singers, a while ago I figured it out.
Laine sings the songs better and generally has a more likeable voice.
Poley is the voice of D2, so has the romance and sound you expect.
Still, I've never been able to choose one over the other, but it's good to know why I can'tActually, I think you've hit the nail right on the head.
That's exactly it.
For me anyway.

Jet (song "Cold Hard Bitch")
I don't think "Jet" get much love here, but I'm with you.
"Are You Gonna Be My Girl" still gets my toes a tappin'.

Only one album "In My World" from this Aussie band, but it's a great album...
I replied to your post at 5:00 this morning before I headed to work.
While I was there I remembered that "Haunting Me" was the track that I liked from the album.
The track my Mum loved that prompted her to get the album was this one, "Memories".
It also featured on "Neighbours".

Gotta be "Nightwish" for me.
"Ever Dream" is Epic.

Haha, you madman. I would invite anyone to play 'Runnin on luck again' back to back with 'Come play the game' by Heavens Edge and tell me there's not a world of difference in sonic quality.
Same year, same producer, I'm assuming very similar budgets and probably pretty similar levels of musicianship... So why do they sound worlds apart? I just don't know...
But I actually agree with you. Don't let my disappointment put anyone off Valentine. For me it's very much anticipation and a big letdown clouding my vision. It's a really good album. Very good songs, good band... Just terrible production. But I like other albums with poor production too - can't be the be all and end all. Just really disappointing in the case of Valentine.
I agree about the Valentine production, but some albums transcend that. For me this is one of them.
For the record though, I do prefer the Heaven's Edge debut, by quite a long way actually.
Regardless of production.

I've posted this clip a couple of times, but It popped up today and I think it qualifies.
I love the video, so I'm quite happy to post it again.

I haven't heard "Haunting Me" for years!
It featured in the soap opera "Neighbours".
My Mum loved it so much, she bought "In My World" on cassette.
I completely forgot about it until now. Cheers.

The concept of "Cockroach" was brilliant.
It was great to see such good will between the two parties.
"Helloween" did a similar thing on their latest release. We should see more of it.
It does however, open up the question of favourite D2 vocalist.
I'd go with Paul Laine, but my favourite D2 albums are their first two?
I can't explain it.
It is what it is.

My two favourite "Scorpions" tracks.
Years apart, but both KILLER!!!

I don't know how many more of these are available and as uncomprehensive as they are, they still give a great insight into the changing popular music trends we witnessed (endured).
A few beacons of light, but we're well and truly in the dark ages now.
Fortunately, a renaissance was on the horizon.
Not necessarily with regards to popular music, but great content for our music was starting to be produced again, for those willing to find it.

Every time I see news talking heads from MSNBC and CNN I am reminded of that song by FEAR "Let's Have a War". Those channels love a good war don't they.
It's nothing new.
Media manipulation has been going on from the very beginning with William Randolph Hearst.
Bad news sells more newspapers (or I guess these days, subscriptions) than good news.

Another nice subtle one from BOC.
"I'm livin' for givin' the Devil his due".

D2.
Still Kickin'...
...and Paul Laine, BTW.
-
"ten" and "Valentine".
-
Just watching the USA vs Canada in the Ice Hockey.
3-2 the USA's way approaching the end of the second period and there's been a bit of "Biffo" between the two teams.
You'd almost think there was some sort of rivalry involved.
