That song is phenomenal to my ears, the other two are good but this is fantastic, they weren't lying with the photograph references

never heard of these guys before, but I love that song, may have to look into this one

sounds excellent to me, especially the third song ' say what you want'

anyone heard this one yet ? i'm loving it, it is admittedly a bit of a departure from their previous albums and given the choice I would have had them stick to the sound of the last few albums but the songs are just really good and there are a few nods to their previous stuff with songs like the amazing 'thick as theives'

oh and why isn't leave it all behind on this album, that's a really good song, not sure why it was left out, even though its a really strong set of songs that one would have fit in perfectly

This is gonna be a contender for album of the year for me, Love almost every song, I too am not keen on 'Look to the sky' and I'm not really fussed with 'Don't wait for salvation' either although neither are particularly bad, but every other song is a winner, especially 'All In' what a song that is, agreed also that the guy's voice is unrecognisable now which is a good thing

Theory of a deadman are one of my favourite modern rock bands, and listening to that Stellar Revival album it sounded quite like them and is excellent btw, so was wondering if there are any other bands with a similar sound, (probably a silly question as I am aware there are a ton of bands playing this kinda music) but that you would consider to be almost if not as good as TOAD So any suggestions on where to start ? other than Hinder, Nickleback and any other really obvious ones

Yeah I'd say that's a fair score, I'd personally place it a little higher , one thing I would say however is that the Baton Rouge songs on this album really miss the background vocals that Baton Rouge are known for , with just kelly singing it misses something

Anyone heard this album, i'm liking it very much , sunshine over me and love will tear us apart are probably my faves currently, but its a solid album all the way through, definitely think the 75% percent score is a tad harsh on melodicrock.com, especially as degreed was given 100, then again this is more in line with my tastes than the degreed album which is admittedly a good album too

Don't see why the swearing is such an issue tbh, I'd have preferred not to have it, true, but at the end of the day the album is full of very strong songs imo

85 percent is probably a fair score tbh, there are definitely a couple of tracks not up to the standard of the rest of the album, still I'm not complaining,as it is a very good album overall

It seems like you have set an extremely high bar then, there are some awesome songs on this album imo

just checked out a couple of songs on youtube and I like what I'm hearing so far. Agreed that the production on this for what it is, is fantastic. Puts some modern albums like Nelson's new one for example to shame, when you consider this is an Indie release
