Now that they've lost their guitarist and bass player, how long before Bon Jovi is just 'Jon and Blokes'?
I think for the general public it's been like this for YEARS already, when they say Bon Jovi = Jon Bon Jovi for them there's no difference

Ousey's voice doesn't really gel with me, I liked him when he sang AOR styled tracks with Heartland but believe his voice sounds kinda misplaced in a rock setting
-
Shitttttt....... Just listened to ''Need You To Understand'' what can I say..... Great fuckin' guitar, great vocals, bring it on!!! And yeah indeed, does sound like H.E.A.T. a lot
-
Apart from being sensational, 'Need you to understand' also sounds 100% like HEAT. The production quality and musicianship are seriously spot on. Only difference is the vocals but I like this guy. If I understand correctly and this is the guy from Diamond Dawn, he sounds much better now.
I sure hope so. His voice was one of the main reasons the Diamond Dawn album didn't really do much for me. Shame cause some of those songs were really cool

Listened to the Saturday / Sunday track whatever it's called yesterday, really boring. Is ''We Don't Run'' better? Can't listen to it right now... But why do they promote this as an ''album for the fans'' then what have all their previous albums been??? I can't blame Jon or the band for trying to change their sound, people change and that's ok for a band that's been around for 3 decades. But is it too much to ask to grow some balls once in a while and rock out??

I am in Craigslist hell again.
Been trying to get rid of some collectibles and I hate eBay so I thought WTF...... put them on Craigslist for the hell of it.
Why would you do that??? hahahaha
Can you delete your ad again?

The first H.E.A.T. record and George Lynch's ''Sacred Groove''

Turkish band, just what we needed... Tunes sound okay

Nice list of names there, any samples out yet?

Survivor.
Only bought their Jimi Jamison era albums a couple of years ago, and not being a band that I'd followed, didn't realise they originally had a different singer. After sampling those early albums, I didn't bother getting them as well.
I've no idea how people rate Dave Bickler, but I'm assuming Jimi Jamison is more popular...
Although I gotta say that's one case where the singers sound very similiar. In terms of musical output, yeah the Jimi Jamison stuff sounds different (and better)

No one has seriously mentioned Tom Paris taking over duties from Dizzy Dean in Britney Fox?? That was my first and most obvious.
And Lindsay, are you tripping, man? Hasn't the same guy been the Hardcore Superstar frontman all along??
As for Axel Rudy Pell, Charlie Huhn was my favourite of his vocalists, but then again, ironically, I do also agree with Fernando Garcia taking over in Victory. Love all Victory albums, but when Garcia entered the picture they undoubtedly released all their best stuff. And whilst on Fernando Garcia, Wicked Sensation's second album, with Garcia on vocals, is MUCH better than the debut.
China - Patrick Mason on their 2nd album was an improvement, though I liked the first guy. And purely on a vocal level, even though 'Go all the way' was much weaker than 'Sign in the sky,' I always thought Eric St Michaels was the best vocalist this band ever had.
I thought someone would mention Britny Fox. But I don't like ''Bite Down Hard'' that much tbh

He keeps releasing so much stuff that I lost track (not that I wanna listen to what he has to offer these days) but apart from the name of the project the music is always the same, whether it's labeled as ''George Lynch'' , ''Lynch Mob'' or ''Lynch / Sweet'' or whatever name he comes up with (okay the album with Sweet is ''unique'' in the sense that it features a famous voice)

... and of course: Bonfire with David Reece just joking!

Btw really enjoy these discussions we've been having on here lately, very creative topics and ideas

Been listening to the Bad Company albums with Brian Howe recently so I'm gonna say Bad Company. Also liked when Vinnie Vincent Invasion got Mark Slaughter

All the bios I read seemed to indicate pretty strongly that it was a joint effort in those early "pure" days before it all turned sour. Hard to know who exactly did what unless you were there, and even they probably don't remember.
Yeah, the five of them made Gn'R what it was ... they all brought something to the table, and the band was never the same once the original line-up fractured.
Except for maybe Steven Adler

Head West to Portland, Oregon. The hipsters out here are glomming onto vinyl like it is going out of style and there are many vinyl stores.
Too bad... I'll fly to Atlanta and rent a car there there

The bigger chains probably, yeah. But sure there's gotta be a couple places with used CD bins or something, those are far more interesting anyway

I hope this is the right section of the forum. Here's what's up, I'll be in the US this September (mainly New York) and was wondering are there any stores you recommend visiting? Secondhand stores, pawn shops whateverr... would be greatly appreciated thanks

Still not sure, bought the album despite the negative comments cause I wanted to have all of Ozzy's albums and form my own opinion. The melodic aspect of some songs is pretty cool like the title track or Shot In the Dark like I've mentioned. But then there's also songs like Secret Loser and Thank God For The Bomb which...... I don't know how to put it but I think are unintentionally funny. When Ozzy sings ''I'm a secret loser!!'' or ''Thank God for the Bomb!!'' .... just not cool man haha.

Iron Maiden: 'Fear Of The Dark'
Status Quo: 'Back To Back' and 'Never Too Late' (to be honest, most of their output between, say, 1978 and 1984, is generally considered 'average' by the Quo Army)
Ozzy Osbourne: 'The Ultimate Sin' (I remember some reviews panning this when it first came out)
Twisted Sister: 'Love Is For Suckers'
Are you trolling here, mate ? Ultimate sin is my favorite Ozzy + Guitarist + you name it! Secret loser easily in my list of the songs I listen to naked and drink champagne without the flute glass. I can't listen almost to anything else from ozzy.
I think consensus on Ultimate Sin is that it ain't that great as an album. Some songs are good (like Shot In The Dark for example, although it sounded MUCH better live!! Check out the version from the Moscow Peace Festival) but as an album it just doesn't hold up to Ozzy's other classic work
