This is scheisse It's too bad cause I believe individually they are good musicians.
-
The debut has some tunes that are good fun like ''Time'', ''Backstreet Romeo'' or ''Liquor Up'' which I still like to play once in a while or put on a mix CD
-
The debut is better than this in my opinion. Got this one and thought all right, first track is not bad (hopefully the other tracks are a bit better) let's keep it coming. But the other tracks aren't that good unfortunately. I'd recommend the debut to anyone interested in this band this one is just ok

I'm like that as well sometimes. Sort of afraid to not be able to find music I like anymore and get tired of the stuff I've been listening to.This release certainly has its moments and Tommy Denander is a great guitarist. Take the solo in ''When The Silence Gets Too Loud'' for example, now that's how it's done!
-
So.......... what's the deal with this one?
-
Great album (the debut) tried but never got into the follow up was quite a different direction if I remember correctly
-
Not bad but..... no solo????????????
-
Boring. Sorry, just boring. Not just neutral but bad
-
Everyone's raving about this new track, really excited to hear it will have to check it out as soon as I get home. But I thought the last album had been very well received, reading through the comments it seems it's been more of an average album to most people?
-
I still hate the sound. But like the song. I don't mind those lyrics. It is kind of sad, but compared to what it could be (eg. current Bon Jovi or Peterik lyrics) I think it could be worse.
Haha true, but compared to lots of other stuff it could be much better It's not a bad song I kind of like it despite the sound
-
Definitely the Whitesnake version, preferably the one from ''Slip Of The Tongue''!!! Isn't the blonde guy in that video the Crazy Lixx guitarist?
-
Was hoping to see a newly released track here, but it's good they have a music video now hope this gets them some exposure. Their EP was really good
-
I was sold on the first track, not sure about this one..... If the next one's good I'll pre-order it. You guys think this is gonna be like a cohesive album or rather sort of a patchy project / compilation type of deal?
-
Damn that first sample...... sooooo bad hahahhaha I mean it started off ok but then those artificial drums kicked in and made it sound like a 90s / early 2000s Kid Rock or Uncle Cracker song
-
This is definitely a case where the band should have changed their name. Those first albums (I know it's been a long time since they came out) had some magical moments on them but this has nothing to do with those albums anymore. It's basically the same as Maxx Explosion with a different singer so they're calling it House of Lords... But also detached from the legacy and band name I'm not too crazy about their recent outputs
-
Listened to it once and liked it, let's see how long it'll last
-
Solid, but I'm kinda bored after those 2 songs already
-
Same here, but I'll reserve judgement until the full release is out
-
This sounds nice, beautiful track
-
Nice, yes a little silly but fun songs I dig it
-
It's great musically, but the vocals are kind of boring to be honest. Can't help but think how this would have turned out if someone else was singing these songs..... like David Reece for example
Jokes aside, I know he's the original singer and all, and it doesn't sound bad but could have been better. Singers hardly ever bother me I just get used to them but here it does. I do like the choruses with gang vocals, those sound nice
-
wow, 20 years.... like a fine wine hey? really looking forward to it
-
Hahaha ok I get it... Btw you guys feel the same about if there's an amazing, essential record you've known for years and absolutely love and then you tell somebody about it who's never heard it. And you kind of envy them for never listening to it and being introduced to the greatness of the album? This seems to be one of those, I'll have to do some catching up
-
Go easy guys, I think you're being ''much too hard on him'' ;-) gotta re-visit this one as I was a little disappointed because as an album it looked very promising (everything was pointing to a great album, released in 1989, flashy new guitar player, good video for ''hard on me'' - typically 80s) and then it just didn't deliver like I was hoping. Will spin this again tonight......
Really?
One or 2 slightly weaker tracks, but you have at least 10+ gems on this.
That's sort of weird too, I was like 17 tracks, what??? I'll definitely listen to it again beginning to end

Not hatin on Whitesnake, but they really need to put a bit more effort into their album covers. Their last releases have always been the same logo only thing they're changing is the background color
