  9. AWESOME!!! i love this kinda shit. Meet Dirty Loops -- They are longtime friends and music school classmates Jonah Nilsson (vocals/keyboards), Henrik Linder (bass), and Aron Mellergardh (drums) who hail from Stockholm, Sweden and have made name for themselves with their twisted pop covers beginning with their take on Lady Gaga's "Just Dance." That video, which was made in the winter 2010 while the three band members attended Royal College of Music in Stockholm, became wildly successful with over 100,000 YouTube views and 10,000 Facebook shares in the first two month's of release... without any promotion or social media savvy. The group's videos have now garnered a total of 19 million YouTube views to date, and their first original single, "Hit Me," has just entered theTop 10 in Japan. Swedish producer/songwriter Andreas Carlsson signed the group to a management deal; producer/songwriter David Foster signed the group to his Verve Records and brought them on his tour of Asia in 2012; and the group has a long list of famous fans that includes Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Adam Levine, Dallas Austin, Rodney Jerkins, Brian McKnight, and Avicii. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nls1HtXQe8E
  10. Britney called, she wants her song back haha!! I agree total fuckin' rip off.
  11. Some pretty cool shit there, how the hell do you find this stuff.
  12. That is so cool, the Planet 3 album he plays on is 1 awesome disc.
  13. For me this is his best album,ya just gotta love the mid 80's hi-tec sound on this.
  14. Chris Laney - Pure If by some chance you have never heard this I urge you to do so asap. This is such an awesome slab of melodic hard rock that upon your first listen you will be in such a state of melodic hard rock bliss that you will not feel the sheer power of this cd ripping of your balls off.
  15. As we're on an 80's theme I thought i'd mention Kristine who is from Athens Greece.Melodicrockoz started a topic on her back in 2012 but I thought I would highlight her again as she has the 80's sound nailed. This takes you right back to the glory days. She released her Modern Love ep a while ago and all her solo stuff aswell as the other artists she collaborates with is pure 80's gold. Check her out.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGAJzraCbPQ&list=PLm87W37e3KKOez-DMz8OMd2qvx1nMINaL&feature=c4-overview-vl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFyucq0DSuM&list=PLm87W37e3KKOez-DMz8OMd2qvx1nMINaL&feature=c4-overview-vl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R065UB7aJig&list=PLm87W37e3KKOez-DMz8OMd2qvx1nMINaL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm_cTRzdEiM&list=PLm87W37e3KKOez-DMz8OMd2qvx1nMINaL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSWF8qhmetY&list=PL30FD57F317852BF7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjpRflO3q1k&list=PL30FD57F317852BF7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biUgcr2zwDQ&list=PL30FD57F317852BF7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC8uM7LKS6s&list=PL30FD57F317852BF7

  17. First heard Sunglasses At Night back in the summer of 83 and had to get the First Offense album and instantly became a fan.The follow up Boy In The Box is his best album imho and has that mid 80's hi-tech style. His following albums are all worth investing your time and money in,just don't be expecting to hear a BITB part 2,quality artist though.
  18. Moti Special - In Love We Stand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDtpB2UIHr0 If you've never heard this what do you think? I love it,taken from their album Dancing For Victory.
  19. Oh Yeah, this is AWESOME featuring as you say the fantastic Betty Who. Got the Betty Who EP "The Movement" last year after hearing the FM Attack remix of "Somebody Loves You" fantastic stuff.
  20. Absolutely LOVE THIS and yes it is massively 80's which I love, the 80's was my decade and i'm a sucker for 80's pop.As soon as I started to listen the first band that popped into my head tho was Time Gallery who are labelled as AOR but to me are massively influenced by 80's pop.
  21. I only got round to hearing A Shot At Redemption today and thought it was shite. Under Your Skin however is great, will have to check out the rest of the samples.
  22. Yeah,looking forward to this.
  23. Michael Paynter - Weary Stars Been listening to this album for a few days now and I have to say this is superb. For want of a better description i'll call it modern pop/rock,all I know is I love it. If you liked Closer and Love The Fall you'll love this album, special mention for the ballad Novocaine, love it. Also 2 live tracks at the end one of which is great 7.23 long version of MJ's The Way You Make Me Feel. Highly recommended.
  24. Yeah thats the Bricklin I got to, my favorites are For Her Love and How Come I, So I have a question to you Mr AOR man, I have absolutely been jamming this self titled Boom Crash Opera, but no matter how much I throw it around on here, cant get one person to respond about it, is it that unknown, or has nobody thought it was Hi Tech cause it sounds a little new wave? well ive learned a little new wave ive found some Hi Tech within, whats your thoughts on this band, and do they have anything other then this ST disc I got, and I will check out your list, I have that Surrender disc, thats more of the gigantic overproduced melodic rock that I also love as much, why is it this kind of music is so hard ot find on disc? is it just a matter of the fact it came out in the mid and early 80s, got pressed to disc, doesnt really have all that huge of a following, so it doesnt really get reissued? teach me, and I will jump on some of those bands, thanks bro. I had their ST debut album on vinyl but could never get into them, and a mate of mine had their 2nd album These Here Are Crazy Times which I thought was total crap (sorry). They had 3 others I think but I've never heard them so can't comment. 2 Aussie bands I love tho are Avion and Southern Sons. Avion - White Noise is Fantastic and Southern Sons - Nothing But The Truth is one of my fave pure AOR albums. Avion - We've Got Secrets http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h30p8MIG-I Southern Souns - Lead Me To Water http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aw1mW4SGDQ

Oh BTW glad you really like the Bricklin album which I agree is superb. But my fave Bricklin track has to be Walk Away from the Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure soundtrack and also added as 1 of 3 bonus tracks to the AOR Heaven Classix remaster back in 2012. Walk Away http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrduICZlxFU
