  1. Talking about PM this is one of my favorites, not a bonus but IMO should have much more fame: Pretty Maids - Another Shot Of Your Love
  2. Get out of my head! The other day I was thinking exactly the same: if they only had put some great melodic hit instead of 'Sickening' this album could have been quite strong actually. Anyway it's good, I agree, has grown a bit more on me.
  3. Thanks guys, I digged this band... and OMG, what a song... and what a singer!!!! Awesome. Love it.
  4. I've just discovered this. It's gothic metal Within Temptation-style from Greece. Pretty good, IMO. Njoy!
  5. By a long way. Now the challenge is, what is number two? Is there any such thing as any other decent music video from the year? And for the record, good song too. Very nice. Well, I like the video of Pretty Maids (Face the world) though I admit it would be much better with lots of real 'pretty maids'.
  6. Yep, but it's a good album nevertheless. Anything above 80% is good and deserves to be listened. It's just that the hype made me hope they were going really to beat Pandemonium. Just to compare, my score for the last Bon Jovi crap wouldn't go beyond 50%, and that's coming from me, who I consider 'I'd die for u' the best song ever (for me). So >80% -> solid.
  7. Pretty Maids just published Kingmaker so I presume they are going to do some good 'K'Ching' (bonus from Pandemonium era, cover):
  8. Listened. Scores: 01. When God Took A Day Off - 9 02. Kingmaker - 10 03. Face The World - 10 04. Humanize Me - 9.5 05. Last Beauty On Earth - 7.5 06. Bull's Eye - 7.5 07. King Of The Right Here And Now - 8 08. Heavens Little Devil - 9 09. Civilized Monsters - 7 10. Sickening - 5 (meh!) 11. Was That What You Wanted - 8 Total: 82.2% Definitively below Pandemonium, and more or less a draw with Motherland. A bit of deception as I hoped more, but is solid. So, if you didn't like the released samples you won't find any great surprises I'm afraid.
  9. Listening this: after ending the 'sha-la-la' age Bon Jovi has sadly and definitvely entered into the "uooooh uooooh" era.
  10. Good! I like the 4 samples (thanks, Stefan!) A full review in spanish here: http://diosesdelmetal.org/criticas/novedades/8648-pretty-maids-kingmaker-2016 Quote: "If you're fan of this band you're going to get a great surprise because this is one of the best albums in their whole career"
  11. ?? I don't know why you say that. If you have listened more tracks than us or have read any insider review saying it's weak, ok, then I shut up, but if you only have listened the 3 tracks pre-released as the rest of us I think they are pretty good, so I disagree (for now). In my case Motherland disappointed me a bit (having some good tracks), Pandemonium was the top.
  12. ... Since White Widdow are from Australia, a rarity from Leppard (okok, not aussies), but an australian bonus track from Euphoria age: Def Leppard - I am your child
  13. Page 3 and nobody has put this one yet...
  14. New album "Ship to nowhere" (2016) out some months ago, haven't seen it here (searched); anyway as Geoff said 'good safe AOR':
  15. ...And when it rains sometimes happens a big Thunder. White Widdow returns in november! White Widdow - Thunder
  16. That one of Van Halen? This one, for God's sake!
  17. Agree, needs spins but I like this one more than Double Agent, though Last Woman Standing is just perfection. So, not at my top this year but good, solid album. (And hell, the album cover is adorable! )
