  1. Yes, looking very much forward to this!!! Treat First Signal Defiants Ted Poley Phantom 5 Sunstorm Tang Down Nordic Union Hopefully the second half of the year is just as good!!!!!
  2. Couldn't care less if anyone here likes or dislikes the band. I really don't care. I just hate shit that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. As someone who is a massive fan of the band, all I am saying is that I can assure you that this new track is not some amazing ray of shining light... something completely 180 degrees opposite to what they have recorded before and to how they sound and what they stand for. It's a middle range track for them. Like I said above, I'd genuinely find it interesting for a hater of the band to describe to me what it is about this song that they like, whilst they hate the amazing songs that are in their discography. I LOVE when people assume and/or put words in my mouth. Nowhere did I say I HATE the band. I did say they were good at what they do, but they are not for me. And for someone who "doesn't care" if other people like them or not, you seem to like to keep talking about it. It's all yours buddy. We usually agree on a lot of stuff and have some what of the same taste, but as soon as someone disagrees with you watch out!!! Have a great day. You're obviously not getting my point here at all, so we'll leave it at that, hey. I have no issues with you so there's no need to make this into something. If you settle down a bit later on, have a good read over what I was actually saying and hopefully it sinks in. For the record, a lot of people here disagree with me and after I break their arms and legs and wrap their spines around their throats we have no issues at all, so not sure where you're going with that one. I have no issues at all. You posted a bunch of songs stating that the haters like the new song but don't like the past songs/albums. Like I said, I don't really think they are bad just don't do much for me, but the new song sounded decent. Lets just go about our business and rock on man! \m/

  4. Better than every song on their last two albums, in my opinion. If the entire album sounds like this track, I might pony-up and buy it. Personally id say any of the first 7 or 8 tracks on Stereo Messiah stands up to this track. Still a great track tho. Plus the the 7 or 8 tracks on 'What the hell.' Seriously guys, let's not be really silly here, because that's just really silly. I was actually a bit lukewarm about the new song... though I think it's good. But it is not even in the same playing field as stuff like this; ... and I couldn't find a video for 'Cry' on youtube. And then add the 7-8 songs from 'Stereo Messiah' too. But seriously, come on guys. Don't be silly, because this is really silly. As a huge fan of the band, I will give you the hot tip. And no politically correct "to each their owns" or rubbish like that either. The new song is nice, but easily in the lower 1/4 of Vega's overall output so far. They have so many amazing songs and you're going to chime in on this thread after supposedly hating them so far and all of a sudden you like this "okay" (by their standards) song? It's rubbish, guys. Just like the dudes who comment on Steel Panther without obviously ever having sat down and listened to a full album, just stop it. Go listen to 'What the hell' and 'Stereo Messiah' in full and then make your comments. They are fucking brilliant albums, and a hell of a lot better than this good new song... but not that good. Sorry for the rant, but some dudes have got to me lately. Know the shit you're being critical of before making a scene of it. I'm sorry, I keep forgetting that I have to like what everyone else likes!!!! I will NOT apologize for not being a Vega fan, I just don't care for them. They are by no means bad, they seem to be good at what they do, they just don't do it for me. The new song is pretty good like I said and that is it.

  6. Not a Vega fan at all, but this is a really good song. Easily there best song for me.
  7. Stop taking the words out of my mouth!!! lol
  8. Hope so, that song is ok, but from the names involved I was expecting much more to be honest. Not blowing me away but in truth its better than anything on the last Bonfire album Yes, better than the last Bonfire album as a whole!

  10. Backed mate. The first listen its all a bit throw away, but it gets under your skin after a few plays. The only song I really don't like is 'Let's Get Cracking'. Most of the rest of it is what youd expect from RL - poppy/rock numbers and a few killers - love 'We Are The Weekend', 'Hands', 'Pretty Boy Swagger', 'Destiny' and 'Up All Night'. Yep, agree with the two creepy Brits. I only just finally heard it today (behind the eight ball on this one, apparently) and I can't see what all the fuss is about. I'll say straight up it's Reckless Love's weakest album so far - only for the fact that it's the first time there's no real tear-your-pubes-off-rip-your-scrotum-and-throw-your-balls-at-the-wall type rocker that really shines above all others. But that aside, to me it's business as usual for the guys. Stupid, banal lyrics but good catchy melodic rock / pop songs. I didn't dislike anything on here at all. With regard to the ones in recent discussion, I really liked 'Rock it' - thought it was a really cool chorus. 'Let's get cracking' took a while to warm up, but I thought it was a nice catchy chorus when it arrived. 'Pretty boy swagger' was really cool too. Really poor lyrics, but good stuff. Yeah, I do definitely think it is pretty noticeably their weakest album so far, but it is still a long, long way from actually being a bad album. I like it plenty enough. 'Destiny' kind of softly caresses my curly pubes. This release is growing on me. It may end up being their weakest, but of all their releases this is the one that has the most potential to make these guys huge. I can see tracks like 'Monster', 'We Are The Weekend', 'Scandinavian Girls' and 'Child Of The Sun' being radio hits. Not my radio. lol It isn't horrible, just"ok"
  11. Just saw Y&T last night(3/8/16) in Fall River MA. A 2 and half hour show that proved that Dave is the man! An absolutely awesome show!!! A standing ovation after "I believe In You"
  12. Sounds about right, but some lower scores for me on some. Yeah.... even Bulletime is a stretch at 7/10. This band has completely lost the plot. Me think so also!
  13. Sounds about right, but some lower scores for me on some.
  14. See, this is how I know you're crazy. You need to quit doing drugs. Turn the Dial is a great song and fits very well with the rest of the album, BUT is not the best song on it imo.
  15. Itunes have over a min. samples for each track, NOT impressed at all. I really think they are going down hill. Have it pre odered already to put in the collection, and there a coupe of good songs.
  16. Alessandro Del Vecchio! AGAIN! Is this guy on every second release now!? All his music sounds... the same. I think this damages our genre bringing in the same musos as backing tracks or writers for a variety of other bands. To be honest that Hardline was Alessandro Del Vecchio's best - but it should never have been called Hardline. It sounded nothing like Hardline. This will be basically Poley singing for Lionville / Chasing Violets - pretty much the same lineup as the Kelly Keeling album from last year. It sounded more like Hardline than the other 2 Hardlines did that s for sure! Anyway this should be called "Alessandro Del Vecchio Band .... with Ted Poley" Hes only producing it. Have you listened to the promo vid? Sounds exactly the same as his other 2 solo albums to me? Yeah, I don't get why people miss such obvious things. The Martin brothers have written all the songs for the album (bar one) so what the fuck does it actually matter what Alessandro Del Vecchio is doing here? If Hess and Lesperence wrote a new Harem Scarem album but it was produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio, or he played bass on the album... whatever else... it's still going to sound 100% like Harem Scarem. Listen to the facts, dudes. As far as I can see, Alessandro Del Vecchio has had no input in the song writing, so his involvement should basically be a non-issue. The album will hopefully sound like Vega or Issa's 'Crossfire,' but with Ted Poley on vocals. Sounds like heaven to me. Agree Hopefully Ted will sound better than ISSA tho Agree
