  1. Now I wish to hear the other version of the album. Those vocals are just bad.

Used to be God 11. Welcome to the End from the new album "Phoenix": NOCTURNAL RITES sign with AFM / new album „Phoenix“ out in late September! There are bands which are badly missed once they disappear from the scene. One of those examples are Swedish melodic metal masters Nocturnal Rites - The Official Site who released their latest album “The 8th Sin” in 2007 and afterwards slowly slipped into a hiatus kind of situation. We are happy to come up with good news now: NOCTURNAL RITES are back! And not only that; the band has just put finishing touches on their brand new album, titled “Phoenix”, which will be released on September 29th via AFM. The band states: “We can’t wait to share this new album with everyone. It’s been long overdue. Needless to say, it feels great to finally be back." NOCTURNAL RITES are: Jonny Lindqvist - Vocals Nils Eriksson - Bass Per Nilsson - Lead Guitar Fredrik Mannberg - Guitar Owe Lingvall - Drums Follow us also on Instagram for more exclusive insights! https://www.instagram.com/afm.records/
  3. Yeah.... that solo is odd for the song.
  4. That's accurate. Agreed. Freedom Rock is a slab of amazing AOR tunes and the S/T has "Cry" which is beyond fantastic. Kenny really showcases his amazing vocal talent in Cry They are all around 85-90% to me so can alternate on any given day. Address The Nation is my #1 Mine too!
  5. Good one, especially Rest in Sleaze was very reminiscent to late 80's/early 90's sleaze/glam albums, comparable to early Tigertailz in style and sound Yeah. Meant to say Rest In Sleaze was pure 80's.
  6. Pretty decent song. I'll have to try the first disc.
  7. It was 1993. Transition period for hard rock.
  8. Terrible CD though. Very slow and dreary if I remember correctly. But one gem.
  9. Anybody remember this band and song?
  10. That's one fucking awesome tune!! Cannot wait for the album!!
  11. Looking forward to Nocturnal Rites!! Those Lynch Mob titles leave me feeling warm and fuzzy.
  12. That's not the Hinder we all know. Pretty basic bland modern rock.
  13. Just flatout awful. What happened to the Mr. Big from the first few discs?
  14. Jeez that's weak. Sounds like an okay mid-80's demo. And still the female-ish vocals.
