probably my all time favorite US early 70's hard rock band(never cared 'bout dust, sir lord baltimore, animals, mc5,despite that BOc covered some tunes of them etc etc) although their best one is "fires..." from 81. get their double cd "workshop of telescopes" (best of). it's great for the begining. but you'll need more. especially their first 3 live lps.

Hey Terry, What's the tracklisting for that MLB "Shine" disc? I have a self titled cassette by them that I think was just a compilation of "Apple" and maybe "Shine" but I'm not sure. Let me know I might be interested in this.

Great stuff. We had A 'Cheesy' hair metal band dominating some peoples choices last year, so plenty of room for a 'Cheesy' metal band aswell : they have the gkeiest wizard ever appeared on a cover....and they paid big $$$ for it.....

You'd take one Steel Prophet song over all of Maiden, Saxon, and G-Ray's work? Um...yeah, OK, whatever. Steel Prophet's a good band, but they ain't THAT good. There are obviously freaks in every walk of life Keef hahahaha, there are 2 obvious things..... i love it so much to mess up with "authorities"(and i'm not writing this for keef) this godly track has more and better riffs than almost the whole saxon catalog....
