  1. Well, this is going to be pretty hard to narrow it down to 3...because there are so many that I love! But if I had to pick 3, they would be; - Defcon - "Defcon" - Wild August - "Wild August 2" - Pair A Dice - "Pair A Dice" Some other ones that are right up there too, are; - Mariah - "Mariah" - Valor - "Toy Soldiers" - Both Pyramid releases - T.Y.R. - "All Comes Down To You" - Heartless

  3. First off, I'm a fan of both bands.... but it turns out that Warrant gets my vote acrossed the board.
  4. 1. Asphalt Ballet - "Asphalt Ballet" ....just a really underrated hard rock disc with a bluesy edge. 2. Bad Moon Rising - "Bad Moon Rising" .... I've always thought that Aldrich is an extremely underrated guitarist. I'm a big fan of all his projects/bands. This one is pretty much a toss-up for me, but since I can only vote for one, I'll take the debut. Both are really good though... 3. Blue Murder - "Blue Murder" ... Again, I like both of these albums, but I give the edge to the debut. Fantastic guitar work by Sykes. 4. Child's Play - "Rat Race" .... another one of the MANY "lost gems" of the early 90's. The biggest highlights for me; "Day After Night", "My Bottle" and "Knock Me Out". 5. Crash Alley - "Loud n Ugly" .... I honestly haven't heard the debut, but I like this one. 6. Every Mother's Nightmare - "Every Mother's Nightmare" .... another greatly underrated album! I love it. The second disc has it's moments, but I'm definately taking the debut...no question. 7. Gotthard - "Gotthard" 8. Harem Scarem - "Harem Scarem" ....this might be the closest one out of these for me. Both are phenomenal melodic rock releases by a truly underrated band. 9. The London Quireboys - "A Bit Of What You Fancy" .....this is an okay album, "Hey You" is the biggest highlight for me! Haven't heard the second. 10. Riverdogs - "Riverdogs" ...honestly not too familiar with Riverdogs. But I do know that Vivian Cambell was in the band...what does everyone else think of these albums?? 11. The Screaming Jets - "All For One" ... how was the song "Better" NOT a huge hit?! Love that one... 12. Talisman - "Talisman" ..... Another great release. If Jeff Scott Soto is involved with it, you know it's top notch. One of the best and most underrated vocalists of the genre. 13. And for this one, I honestly haven't heard anything from Two-Bit Thief. I really enjoy these kind of threads....keep 'em comin'!
  5. Got another one off of Amazon...it came in the mail today; Vixen - "Vixen" (1988) Got it for only $6.97 too!
  6. Very cool, thanks for posting! I think "West Wind Blows" might be my favorite song from them...
  7. Welcome to Heavy Harmonies!
  8. I personally like it a lot! The first 3 HOH albums are essential, IMO.
  9. Wow, some pretty difficult decisions here.... 1. Angelica - "Angelica" ....honestly haven't heard the second one...but love their debut. Rob Rock is an amazing vocalist. 2. Cry Wolf - "Cry Wolf" ... just because I've been listening to that one. Aren't some of the same songs on both of them? So really, it could go either way for me I guess. 3. D'Molls - "Warped" ... the first one has some good tracks, but I think this one is more solid all the way through. 4. Extreme - "Extreme" ... These first 2 Extreme albums are honestly the only ones that I like by the band. Even both of these have "filler" on them, IMO. But I'll take their debut...songs like; "Kid Ego", "Little Girls" and "Mutha" put it over the edge. Nuno's guitar playing makes these albums... 5. Guardian - "Fire and Love" 6. House Of Lords - "House Of Lords".....this one is EXTREMELY close for me. But I give a slight edge to the debut. 7. Jetboy - "Feel the Shake" .... hands down. 8. Living Colour - "Vivid" ....honestly, never really been a fan of these guys. So I just picked one, haha. 9. Vixen - "Vixen" ..... I am a big fan of both of these discs. So this one is pretty close.... 10. Warrant - "Cherry Pie" .... Another close one. But "Cherry Pie" is one of the best of the genre, IMO.... just a great album all the way through. 11. Winger - "In the Heart of the Young" .... this is my personal favorite Winger album actually. But I like their debut, too... Another great thread!
  10. Blue Murder - "Blue Murder" (1989) & W.A.S.P. - "The Best of the Best" (2-disc set) ....don't know why this posted twice! lol
  11. Blue Murder - "Blue Murder" (1989) & W.A.S.P. - "The Best of the Best" (2-disc set)
  12. I just found some rare live footage of Circus Circus (pre-W.A.S.P.) performing their song, "Ten on the Wall", live at the Roxy in 1980. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QleH5XIx_4U
  13. I love collecting CD's. Even with all the downloading & everything now... I'm the type of person who just has to have the actual disc. My collection isn't too big yet, but it has been growing RAPIDLY these past 3-4 years.
  14. Great tune, Brad Sinsel rules. Yeah, it's just one of those songs that I could play OVER AND OVER! haha
  15. ^ Yep, that's my site....thanks for signing up Kristian! I was surprised when I seen a thread started about my site, haha.... That's Axeman's site, it's quite good and Axe is a hell of a guy. Oh yeah, I'm signed up. Thanks Pete....
  16. Shark Island - "Law Of the Order" (1989) & War Babies - "War Babies" (1992)
