  1. Darin Scheff is the brother to Jason Scheff from the band Chicago. Some of his old demos are available on his website. I think some of you may want to hear two Westcoast/AOR demos with Tim Feehan on vocals (John Parr on guitars). DARIN SCHEFF
  2. One of the best bands ever nonetheless. But what's next? Bon Jovi without Jon Bon Jovi
  3. He's re-recorded 'The touch' 2 years ago for the first TRANSFORMERS movie ( ) But the producers didn't like that idea. He's at it again, but still something tells me that he won't make it to the final cut.
  4. Utterly rubbish IMO. But comparing this song to Linkin Park is like comparing Brasilian and San Marino football teams. I might be slaughtered now but I really like Linkin Park. The two first albums is great IMO. I agree, I like Linkin Park, but this is someone completely out of their element. Last time they didn't use his re-recorded version of "Ground zero" in the Transformers movie. He's trying hard to get signed again. I wish him luck, however I'd expect something else from a guy who recorded over 10 AOR albums.
  5. Think that sums it up. It's such a great song, too bad it's not on the "Nightstreet" album. I guess I'm gonna grab that live EP. Does anybody have it ? Is it worth the money ?
  6. I know that their "Bodyheat" is not present on the Nighstreet album. But has it ever been released on CD ? I thought no, but I've just visited their myspace page where it doesn't seem to be ripped from a vinyl source, oh and it's not a live version.
  7. Stan Bush performing live at The Gods Festival. Stan Bush 01 - What I've Got Is Real Stan Bush 02 - It's hard to find an easy way Stan Bush 03 - Joanna Stan Bush 04 - Love Don't Lie LIVE Stan Bush 05 - Heaven
  8. I know this album. I'd describe it as late 80s hi-tech AOR/POP AOR. Smiliar to The Arrows or Cats Can fly if my memory serves me right.
  9. I don't have it now, but I remember not liking it much.
  10. Very new-wavish rock like Strange Advance with some Glass Tiger overtones.
  11. Great song. It makes me think that their next album can be even better than the debut.
  12. I keep praying that someday it will be released eventually on a silverpressed CD (not a CD-R with artwork).
  13. Some of those songs are available on Freddy Curci's solo albums. Wondering if there'd be any difference in sound between "Diamonds", "Bare Necessity"or "Into The Fire " on Curci's album and Alias album. Nevertheless great news for AOR lovers.
  14. I agree with Jez on 'When Rock Was King'. This song is a joke, it's horrible (but maybe it was an inside joke Some tracks sound like POL leftovers. Some are good, but I am disappointed anyway. Favourite track: "lost"
  15. ''Valerie (The Truth Is In Your Eyes)'' was written and recorded by the WORK OF ART for their debut album, but they decided not to use it eventually. But they agreed to pass it forward to Michael Kiske.
  16. Clif Magness - Solo Probably the best blend of westcoast and AOR ever. I also have to add: Steve Lukather - Lukather (89) Michael Thompson Band - How long Tim Feehan as an artist Toys of joy - one of these days
  17. I got RHYTHM CIRCUS Cd, but I have no idea about the price.
  18. A & E. If there's a nice cover art, and the titles are right (they've got the words Love, Heart, Fight,Fire etc) I'm interested.
  19. Wasn't the Fahrenheit an official re-issue from NL Distribution? I think that these Wrabit's may be in the same league as the 2 Hyts and 2 Mayday disc from a while back. It sounds like the bonus live tracks are from the Live show I (and RealRock Fan) have. I don't have it, so I can't tell for sure, but I remember seeing it's artwork and there was a logo (a cd store logo). And that store was selling it on ebay with buyitnow option. However it won't be exactly the same, because Fahrenheit is available worldwide, while most of those COLLECTORS EDITION from Schmankerl guys are available only through their website. When I was intrested in that "Limited collectors edition' of Stan Bush cd, they told me it's not SCOTTI BROS one, but it's not green etc. Since Stan is distributing his music himself I think they contected him, and made a limited amount of cds (like 100) by themselves. All I say it might be similar in this case.
  20. I guess that Fahrenheit - talking bout love cd was released in a similar way. Not an official re-release, but not a cheap ass, green boot.
  21. Kim, You will always get a silver cd from Schmankerl Records that's for sure. I think it's their re-release of Wrabit cds. I bought once Stan Bush cd from them (called, limited collector's edition). It's silverpressed, and nice but it's them who got in contact with Stan Bush and re-released his album in small, limited amount. So I think that might be the same with Wrabit's cd - cool booklet, silverpressed cd, but not the same label it was on in the first place.
  22. My mistake:) Sure it's 'NO Prisoner'. My fav track from the album is called " Prisoner"
  23. Keep on searching ! If westcoast/AOR would be your thing, Clif Magness - Solo or Keven Jordan - No sign of rain are ' JUST KILLERS - NO FILLERS!'
