Would you guys knock it the fuck off with the foul language and the Christian references? Jesus Christ, that shit pisses me the hell off! For fuck's sake, there's no need for that shit.

Blocked Countries
heavyharmonies replied to JamesEagle's topic in Good and Bad Traders, Buyers, and Sellers
If that decision is the most prudent for your business model, then yes, that is exactly what you should do. If not, then no. I can speak only for myself, but this is a BUSINESS decision, not a PREJUDICE decision. Given the ease with which someone can win a PayPal item-not-received claim, if I cannot insure to a country, I won't ship there. Period. It has nothing to do with whether I like or dislike people there. I too, have had a higher number of lost item claims from Italy, but since I can still insure to Italy without difficulty, I continue to ship there. Has nothing to do with it, at least on my part. I won't ship PayPal-paid goods to Brazil because my insurance company will not insure to that country due to high loss rates. If someone from Brazil wants to buy from me and pay via Western Union Money Transfer or by sending cash by Registered Mail, then I am *MORE* than happy to ship there. If they will only use PayPal, then the only other option I can give them is to pay for Global Express Mail, which is tracked and insured. Registered Mail is useless on international transactions. Ultimately, it's this simple: Given the liability exposure that a seller has due to PayPal's requirements, if I cannot protect myself against loss, theft, or damage, I will not ship to that destination. -Dan -
Blocked Countries

My only (slight) issue with that list is that I have sold CDs to both Chinese and Russian buyers, without incident (so far). I do concede that the postal systems in both countries are sketchy, but I'd be a bit hesitant to block out buyers from those two places completely...Just my 2 cents...Jeff. That list is taken primarily from the list of countries that Shipsurance won't insure to. If I can't get insurance coverage, I don't ship there, as it's a PayPal chargeback just waiting to happen. China is blocked for more pragmatic reasons: While I can insure to China, I found that dealing with Chinese buyers isn't worth the hassle. I had a spate of buyers that spoke not a single lick of English and were trying to communicate through eBay with messages that were nothing but a bunch of Chinese characters. Trying to coordinate payment and shipping details became more trouble than it was worth, especially on combined purchases. My patience ran out and I blocked China. -

Pilot Records was the original label that No Rules was released on. No clue if these are original pressings, reissues, or bootlegs.

Zane wanted to set up a merchandise table at MRFest 2, and Andrew understandably said no (there were other vendors who asked and were also turned down, so CD Inzane was not the only vendor). The bands playing the event can set up tables, but not outside/competing merchants. Zane had a hissy fit and started making lame statements about Andrew, MR, and MRFest 2 in his newsletter and on his web site, as well as selling promos that Zane had requested from Andrew to give to artists on his label. Andrew said "enough" and pulled all CD Inzane ads/promos at MR. Zane somehow thinks that what he paid for monthly banner ads at MR somehow constitutes an "investment" in MR. Zane is threatening lawsuit, allying himself with that J.T. Snakeryder loon, and using very juvenile insults (ranting and calling Andrew a faggot, etc.... sound familiar?) on the Noticeboard, as well as lashing out at some of the members there. People who initially were posting defending or recommending CD Inzane as a CD shop have all but disappeared since Zane has shown his true nature. That's it in a nutshell. Hmmm... I think I'll go to one of the largest web sites where my target buyer audience hangs out, and call the owner and the members names. Nice.

CASANOVA's 20th ANNIVERSARY - DEBUT REISSUE IN APRIL Though CASANOVA may not have become a household name in the 90’s hard rock scene it wasn’t for a lack of great songs and drive to succeed. Their roots began in such classic and esteemed German hard rock/heavy metal bands such as Mad Max and Warlock. Formed in 1990 when Warlock super-producer, Henry Staroste, brought Michael Voss and Michael Eurich together to craft the debut album, Casanova, that took the hard rock world by storm. Well, the hard rock world outside of the USA that is. Touring Europe in support of the album, which eventually sold 170,000 copies, only helped to establish and strengthen their rapidly increasing fanbase. A devout fanbase that remains by their side, even now, 20 years later. Casanova has been out of print for years and was never actually released in the United States until now. With supplies diminishing over the years, the price of obtaining an original copy of Casanova has skyrocketed to prices exceeding the $100 mark. So with it being the band’s 20th anniversary we are extremely excited to present a new deluxe edition of the album which includes not only remastered audio, but seven (7) bonus tracks. This updated release of Casanova is the ultimate edition and more importantly a celebration of the classic hard rock sounds of CASANOVA! FOR FANS OF: WARLOCK, MAD MAX, WHITESNAKE, BON JOVI, FIREHOUSE, DOKKEN and ICON POINTS OF INTEREST: - Features former members of WARLOCK and MAD MAX - Contains 7 bonus tracks (Five of which were never available outside Japan) - Out of print for years/original version highly collectible - Never released in the U.S. before now - Limited Edition of 1000 (CD ONLY) - Band celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2010 - First time all original 14 recorded album tracks compiled together - All tracks remastered in 2010 by Jamie King Casanova (Deluxe Edition) STREET DATE: 4/13/2010 TRACK LIST: 01 Don’t Talk About Love 02 Burning Love 03 Living A Lie 04 The Girl Is Mine 05 Rome Burns 06 Love Lies 07 Bang Bang 08 Sticky Sweet 09 Back To The Wall 10 Ride The Wings Of Freedom 11 Hollywood Angels 12 Heaven Can Wait (BONUS TRACKS) 13 Hot Legs 14 Written In My Heart 15 Hollywood Angels (Acoustic) 16 Love Lies (Acoustic) 17 Don’t Talk About Love (Live) 18 Burning Love (Live) 19 Ride The Wings Of Freedom (Live) We are offering FREE SHIPPING within the United States for all PRE-ORDERS placed before album street date of 4/13/2010. The low-fi option was disabled in the upgrade process. I've gone in and re-enabled it. You should now see a dropdown list at the bottom left of every page that will allow you to switch back and forth between the two skins. -Dan

Yep. As I work with it though, I think I like it. It's a bit more polished, some of the functions seem to run faster, the embedded media is a win, and I love the alternating nested quote colors - that really enhances readability. -
Not sure if anyone has noticed this over on the main the site, but the band pages and CD pages now feature links to share that specific band or CD via Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Digg, and a zillion other social networking services (some of which I'd never even heard of). So if you have particular bands or CDs you love, share 'em with everyone you know... or don't know... -Dan
