That is funny. But it kind of seems a shame that Sam cannot be here right now to defend himself. I would love to read his reaction to that!!

Anyway, I read through all the threads at MR.com. Yeah, Sam got wound up, but I have come to expect some of that. Let's face it: he thinks it, then he types it.

However, I really felt he was not quite as blunt and confrontational as I have seen him on the HH board.

Do I wish he had more "people skills?" Of course. But until I become convinced that what he is doing with RR is unethical and illegal, I will remain one of his customers. I have heard tons of music I never would have heard otherwise.

Action is already be taken on the Hurricane cd's.......Any that show up on Ebay will soon be shut down.......We already know the source behind these cheap imitations and legal action is pending......Jay actually got wind of this before any of the rest of us did......So all we ask is for people to be patient and not buy these as the real thing will be out very very soon......

It's still hard to believe a respected member here would do that to people he once called "friends".

You can now add the word "once" in front of the word "respected," as well.

Has anyone heard from Lonnie or seen him lurking on the board since Friday?

BrianJ and Christine both mentioned that they had gotten some form of refund; just curious, are they still showing as "pending" or did they go through?

I think Lovid refunded several people with small preorders with the leftover money he probably got locked in the paypal account (assuming one can refund while the account is locked) or he just initiated manual echeck refunds - hence the pending state.

 

In either case it is quite clever move coz those people announce they got refunds and give hope to the others, while he clears all the funds from his bank account and walks away undisturbed.

 

Unless PayPal majorly steps in somehow (which is unheard of) I dont see refunds coming, hope I'm wrong.

He's only digging himself into a deeper hole by saying anything. I suspect this will be the last we see a post from him. His attempt at gaining some sympathy to possibly alleviate or delay any of victim's pursuit of justice failed....

 

Now it's up to those that were screwed to pursue this to seek justice. We'll just have to see what happens....
