Talk about an oxymoron... NO CHANCE the dude who produced Puddle Of Mud and Saliva is up to producing a combo between Out Of The Cellar and Invasion. This is nothing more than a marketing gimmick from Pearcy to push his project tot he Ratt-hangers-on (like me). Just tell us the truth, Stephen, you, like Jon Bon Jovi, are un-interested in your 80's roots. It's okay, I have Out Of The Cellar and can spin it anytime I want. Just don't package a piece of shit in a tuxedo and try to pass it off as anything more than that. Obviously I have little to no faith this one will be worth the price of a free download onto a cheap CD-R. On the other hand, I, perhaps more than anyone on this site, hope to be proven 100% wrong. Unfortunately, other than Def Leppard's Euphoria my batting average is pretty darn good... which is actually sucks! Wow mate, that's extremely harsh without having heard the thing yet. Ratt never has and hopefully never will have anything in common with any of those bands musically, and just because a producer has produced those bands there's no reason for him to make Ratt sound like them too. I'd like to think that after being in the game for as long as they have, Ratt will sound how they want to sound. I have to admit, that even though all those bands suck, all their albums are very well produced (it's the bands who write the bad songs - not the producer), so if anything I'm happy Ratt have a good producer on board and this album will at least sound excellent. Now it's up to Ratt to write the good tunes. If what Ty says is right, I'm amazingly excited. Based on their recent live gig in Sydney I thought they'd opt for the fast paced less melodic route, but a cross between 'Reach for the sky' and my favourite Ratt album, 'Detonator', sounds like magic to me. I agree on the producer statement. The Taking Dawn disc was produced by the guy that worked many Nu Metal bands but they don't sound Nu Metal at all. You only have to look at the wide variety of styles a guy like Michael Wagener has worked on, to see that the producer doesnt have to change the sound of a band. I mean, does Megadeth sound like Poison? Does Extreme sound like Motley Crue? Yes!!!

Haha. Yeah, to be honest I call it NFL too but I felt like a tool because I'm not American. If I say NFL then I'm technically referring to the Australian Nation Football League, aren't I? Yeah, yeah, so they're technically right because it is actually the only one of these sports that features majority of foot to ball action, but they still suck. 'Cause they're British and they like soccer. Soccer fucking sucks! how much more aggravating can you possibly make a sport? you cant use your hands? what the fuck is that shit? Not my thing at all! and I don't know what your talking about drawn out? actually hit? dude, I don't know if you can even compare the hitting, since they are wearing helmets and pads, I believe naturally they are going to deliver hits a little bit differently, dude, you havent watched much football, you say you have, but you obviously watched a few plays, a couple of times, and decided it was boring! because your description of it, by fact is not correct! not just my opinion, outside of hockey, I don't know of a faster contact sport? Rugby is not even really kind of like it~ I mean there is physical contact on every play, and it's one half contact, and one half strategy! where rugby isnt really that strategic, it's more physical contact, so I wont even compare them! give me tennis anyday!

No you di'nt. 'Look my way' from 'Bite down hard' is one of the best ballads ever penned. I wasnt talking about Bite Down Hard, that's really the only Britny Fox cd I actually really enjoy! Closer To Your Love might be one of my favorite songs of all time!!

Backed on Beth, and Home Sweet Home, many of the popular ballads I hate!!! this goes for Poison-Every Rose Has It's Thorn Any Bon Jovi ballad other then Silent Night any Britny Fox Ballad Im not a fan of Silent Lucidity but the theme of the song makes it standable Thunder - Dont wait for me

I prefer it hard hitting and fast paced. Nice. I knew someone here had to have noticed it. Oh you mean you dont like the football with 15 min QRts, 1000page stratedgy playbooks, Defensive sets, stunts, rush, blitzs, packages, sets, coverages, cheats, and african americans? you like the kind where the most exciting thing is where they all try to break each others necks at the very first of the game?

But you smokers know what im saying right? when your under the appreciation of plants, it's your choice, and I DO NOT CONDONE THE USE OF ILLEGAL OR LEGAL NARCOTICS, AND DRUGS!!! but when you accidently walk into a room, and 2nd hand catches you, you can zero and a single instrument in the song, sometimes something you really never might have picked up on before! and I know someone, who isolated Eddie's(or heavenly father eddie, or god eddie)guitar parts, and the resto of the band was gone!! it was then, it went from being outrageous, to downright sickening, how does one man, have so much musical talent, and whats so beautiful about Eddie, is he's never ever afraid to play something disgustingly simple if it is in the best interest of the song!!! he doesnt have to constantly be whacking off all over his guitar! I admire that!!!

But Phafffas, that's not relevant, it doesnt sound just thrown together, that says alot for a band that can just throw some lyrics together, to fill up a song, and they are better then 90% of musicians that sit and write for 7 months and put all their soul into it!!!

I am an ignorant music fan, as ive not heard Dr. Grind, but if you say it's lyrics are crafted and well expressed, i'll have to try and hunt down that song, and listen! as I obviously don't know a well writen song if I heard one(as you can see by the bands and songs ive listed) but one that I seriously almost left on this poll, (yes it was like the third option) was Dallabnikcufecin!! perhaps one of the greatest ballads ever written, of course by Anthrax, when they decided to be in touch with their sentimental sides, and do a good well written, original ballad! and boy did they ever nail it to a tee!
