I'm pretty frustrated with the lack of good rock stations on shoutcasts listings. At best your hear a cool tune once & awhile & alotta mediocre inbetween so do members here got leads on any hot underground stations with better taste in newer 90's up hard rock in general? If so I'd like to get a list started.

I know of one underground station that I can listen to without getting bored but I'm new here & not sure if posting url's are ok for a newbie so I'll hold off til I can see if that's cool.

Radio in general pretty much blows.

    • Hmm, I know there isn’t a whole lot coming out in December, but it seems just a tad early to be doing a year end list (imo anyway). With that said, I always find Brendon’s pick’s interesting, even though very few of them usually match up with my own. 🤔
    • I don't know many other songs with the same name, but both "Two Sides of Love" by Jodi Bongiovi and Zinatra are killer tunes.     Oh, and while I was searching on YouTube for the Jodi Bongiovi song, I found this gem by Tower City:
    • For real! I don't own a turntable, and I'm conflicted over whether I should get one just for this one record. I'm hoping if they don't eventually also release it as a CD, then they'll at least put it on streaming services like they did with the demos on the 2013 CD.
    • Has anyone else noticed how the new vocalist kinda sounds like Gene Simmons? 🤔
    • That's actually a pretty cool hard-driving tune right there...too bad it ain't dropping as a cd instead of vinyl.
    • She had a big hit over here w/ that Supreme's song back in the 80's...and quite the looker back in the day...
    • Yep, fully agree that this was actually a big surprise, how good it is. I liked the previous one, but this is a massive step up.
    • The day everyone's been waiting for, new "video" day! So here's the fourth track from the album. The first "ballad." Bit of a cringe-fest, just the way I like it;    The media whirlwind around this release has been so massive too. Write-ups flowing in; “The way the band infuses killer hooks, with cringey lyrics and inconsistent audio quality across the album is a thing of true marvel!” - anonymous source, with a name that rhymes with Spaino. “The videos that accompany each song are stunning; the way in which they have absolutely zero reference or compatibility with the music. The mind-numbing old goPro footage combined with the at-times-excellent (but seemingly darkened for YouTube) photography, is really something to behold!” - anonymous source, with a name that rhymes with Flaino.  “With almost 30 overall views on YouTube, and close to 50 individual song streams, across all streaming platforms, gAIno seems to be a train that cannot be stopped. So immense is the interest in these songs, that I find it hard to fathom.” anonymous source, with a name that rhymes with Blaino
    • lol, he's making a bit of shambles of getting the story out. Might have been better just to tell it properly, in full. Little gripe I have, and a true crime YouTube channel I watch does it too... but calling criminals "gentlemen" just irritates me.
    • Different tastes indeed. 'Love is for suckers,' 'Hot love' and 'You are all that I need' and the only keepers from their entire discography, for me, personally.  The second Widowmaker and the Desperado album are heavier and not that great, but I thought the debut Widowmaker album was still pretty much in that melodic hard rock pocket.
