I don't know how many of you guys are avid fishermen, but apparently a killer track, killer album and killer band can be found in the bait n tackle shop.

In 1994 everyone was waiting for Primal Scream to drop an anti indie dance album but instead they released this blues soaked Stones influenced hard rock album.

Hearing "Blame It On The Night" in my rotation today reminded of what a Killer album it came from. I've narrowed it down to three Songs of the Day. All time machine tracks for me. It's been said here before that Michael Voss should be satisfied with his AFL playing career and should be concentrating more on creating new music, instead of becoming an AFL coach. I agree.* *An Aussie in-joke, don't worry about it.

So "80s" it hurts, but that's not too shabby. Am I hearing a bit of Vince Neil in the vocals or is that just my highly caffeinated imagination? -

Of the 7 releases that I have bought so far this year, Priest is still the leading contender for album of the year, but now added Seb Bach to the list of top albums. Easily my faves are Priest, Mick Mars, Seb Bach & Durbin. I really need to spin Lipz a few more times as that hasn't quite hooked me like their debut. Only reason Crazy Lixx isn't on my list is it is mostly a compilation even if some of the songs are re-records. Gun is probably the only one so far that has left me underwhelmed. I should be picking up the About Us album soon as I loved their debut. Maverick and The Warning are both on preorder. I might pick up the Slash album too. What was it someone saying about this being the year music died?
