This album is due out at the end of May and is apparently his 2nd solo CD. I haven't heard his debut, but from what I've heard it's probably best left that way. I have, however, got a chance to spin and advance of this new one and this is good stuff. Definitely more mellow than Crystal Ball, but surprisingly melodic and catchy. Good, smooth melodic rock. A couple of fillers here and there, but otherwise I'd recommend keeping an eye out for this one.

I got the debut... and honestly its already on my "possible trades list". Its not bad, its just not really anything. however there are a few cool rockers on it towards the middle.

yeah the sweeney album has completely gone under the radar for me & I am no rush to pick it up either but... with Michael Voss being the producer I could be tempted to rush it in... interestingly, reading his bio.. he makes no mention of his old band Cherry Pie releasing a couple of really cool melodic rock e.p's.
