Saw a post from this fella in a DC Star review on HH. He was the vocalist and I think is about to release a solo album. I went to his site and really loved the two tracks on there.

Ken is a great guy. He has finally got around to putting together a new band. They have been playing a few shows in his home state, mostly in Southern Maryland. Retrospect Records has just released 2 CD full of all the great DC Star CDs. Much of the stuff included hasn't been released before.

 

I like what I have heard from the new stuff so far... hope there is more to come. I know Ken's health hasn't been great for the last couple years but hopefully things are looking up now.

His post said he had a solo CD, I've emailed him to ask when it's coming out, not had a reply yet. Will post on here if I hear anything.

Any idea how one would go about getting UK release of a CD and airplay? Got a message from Kenn asking this, hope we can help and make sure his album is released here!

Anyone help Kenn at all? Or at least point him in the right direction? Someone on HH must at least be able to help with the airplay question...?

Just remembered that I really liked the songs I heard from Kenn Taylor a few years ago and thought I'd see if there's a CD out. Found this:

Really sad. Must have happened quite soon after I corresponded with him.

 

The CD referred to in the article doesn't seem to be available - the site is down as is his Myspace. I think this is a real pity, as at least it would be a way for his family to raise some money and for fans to pay their respects.
