Looking out for some groovy/funky 80's sounding aor/rock bands

Basically bands that have a good melodic sense and 80's production but often incorporated the sax,keyboards and other jazzy instruments.any others to think of?

Crazy 8's from Portland, Oregon... played a lot of the same gigs as Dan Reed Network... but the 8's are NOT 80's rock like DRN... more like 80's pop but with a HUGE horn section.

Very true, great sound. Another band from that time and I beleive down south way , no cd out just cassette were Shock.
