Sweet

I was at this show on 8/28. If you get the chance to see the current Sweet band, you should do it! It's the third time I've seen them on this tour (first two times were in Lansing, MI and Wilkes Barre, Pa) they rock hard and do not disappoint! This show was part of a free concert series on the boardwalk in Santa Cruz, CA. I wasn't sure if the crowd would be familiar with them. They opened up with "Action"and after a couple of hits "Fox on the run" and "Little Willy" the crowd was totally into it! The second set included the hits plus the band stretched out with "Windy City", "Sweet F.A." etc... Great Show and nice to meet the band afterwards for autographs. Saw several folks with Sweet t-shirts after the show. They made a great impression!

I didn't realize both versions were touring at the same time. I guess Andy's version didn't want to hit the states.

I'd be interested to hear how they compare.

i would love to see steve priest´s version of sweet, saw andy scott´s a couple of years ago & it didn´t impress me at all!
