Schenker/Barden - Gypsy Lady

The new "acoustic" offering by the long-time cohorts,with Schenker showing some sublime fret-work mixed with Barden singing in a "proper" melodic-style,keeping the "dark Silver-style" vocals to a minimum.The keys and orchestration are just used as augmentation letting the acoustic Schenker rule the roost.I think Barden sounds excellent,as does the production of the album,courtesy of Schenker and Bardens long time associate Michael Voss,who also handles guitar,bass and keys.

 

As acoustic cds go,this is a must for Schenker/Barden fans..........
