Problem with this vs those is that most of the songs on Slangs bonus disc were single b-sides etc, so for the most part are stuff that has already been available for years anyway.
I reckon that Retroactive is probably as close as we will get to getting hold of the demos from the earlier albums.
Yeah and that was my point. I think they have released most of what they can. I love those Uk two cd pressings tho. The Whitesnake and Dio ones are awesome as well. I believe Anthrax Among the Living was done as well.

Was never a Kings X fan I'm passing on this one.

They didWhy can't they do this with High N Dry or Pyromania?
sort of.
They did Pyromania, Hysteria and Adrenalize.

The artwork is killer!
-
The chorus is fucking stupid but it has promise. No signs of rap-rock so it really doesn't sound like Skintrade.
-
He has released 2 Skintrade albums from 1993 & 1995.
I was gonna say, Skintrade isn't new...just reactivated.
I'll check it out, as I'm a big fan of Matti, but as stated, the earlier Skintrade records weren't too engaging. I prefer his Alfonzetti albums.
Backed. And man his three solo albums are just awesome!

Let me rephrase this ... if it's on a CD-R it's not a proper release, period.
If it's a "reissue" on a CD-R then it's not a REAL issue, re- or otherwise ... it's a demo. The Freight Train Jane cd is a cdr. Not mentioned as well....I expected nothing less.
Well it's not the demo, just a burned copy of the original version with different artwork. st. James signed up for this crap apparently.
I think most would agree.

There is an actual building close to me. Very cool place!

They are described as sounding like House of Lords Sahara I read...sounds good to me.

Bout fucking time! I love this band!!!

He has released 2 Skintrade albums from 1993 & 1995. They suck badly and I am a HUGE Matty fan. The older ones were a mix of Rap Rock for lack of a better term. I'm not interested in anything else they may be releasing (God forbid)

It's on the best of but it was the Japanese Bonus Track on Pull. Dig it...
-
I would compare it to watching a golf, tennis or bowling tournament. Yawn....

Never been a "big" fan of the Kipster. But I do like some of their tunes. Guess I should check out Pull. I don't remember if I have ever heard it or not.
Here's my favourite from that album:
And here's almost everyone else's favourite:
Don't forget Hell to Pay!

Eh? It was a monster and sounded absolutely fine to me.Karma would have been a monster but the sound of the cd bothered me.
Granted though, Pull is still my favourite, so we agree on that.
The production wasn't there. Does not crank well. It's almost too loud and distorts easy. I've heard worse, heard better.

I would agree with you on the Sage CDs. Debated whether or not to keep them. Enjoy!
They will get plenty of spins
-
Same here, will be an instant buy, always love them right from the beginning, and also love IV which many hate
I use to hate it but have grown to "like" it. It's still their worst release by far but solid. Karma would have been a monster but the sound of the cd bothered me. The songs were def there though. Give me Pull any day of the week tho.

Aw shucks. Thanks Jared, glad you happy with them, take care of my babies

Will do brother. Didn't realize how great the 2 Sage cd's are. Wow...has to be one of the better indie bands out there.

Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride
Freewheelin'
And Them Boys Done Swang
Groovus Maximus
That's how I rate them.
I go this way:
Grooves Maximus
Freewheelin
Funk O....
Haven't heard the other one yet.

Forget about it...I will be buying anything they release the day it comes out. Solid!
-
I still haven't got around to listening to the last one they released that I own but I am a HUGE fan of the first three. No one ever really sounded like them at all.

Really? I think he has carried the SR torch as they were heading into a heavier direction. Kicking and Screaming was awesome!
