80's rock band nothing special it's one of those I spun it one or twice and has been collecting dust ever since.
Really? I'm surprised you didn't like it. It didn't have any filler IMO. I love this album!

Congrats!

Just saw on a site I go to from Japan that their release will include 2 bonus tracks, one being Taste My Pain + a demo track. Score! I was afraid Taste My Pain wouldn't be released on cd. Glad they are doing it!

That's funny. My wife doesn't collect/horde anything and is always selling/getting rid of something (even if we may still need it). She tells me regularly not to get more cd's (even said as much in a birthday card a few years back) and even complains when I get freebies. The trick for me is, there is no trick. My wife knows(and knew before we got married),my 2 addictions. 1. Music, and 2. Hockey. Family comes first, so when I want to buy some cds there are no problems at all I tell my wife that I am put extra money on the debit card for some new cds and all is good because all my time and money go towards family stuff. Sounds lame but no hiding here. She does think I'm crazy, but I gave up smoking(6 years ago) don't drink really so it's my one vice.
Good call if you can do it that way. I think my wife knows but doesn't say anything because she knows how much I love it. Then again...if she knew the dollar amount we might be divorced right now
Ouch...

Love everything they have done including rubber CDs and I do still like the debut but I can't listen to it much anymore.
-
Finally...something to be mega excited about in the BJ camp!
-
One example is the McDonalds process in the US - just been exposed - no where else in the world was like that.
Yep...disgusting.
-
To me the debut is still the best. Although the production is very dated, man I wish they re-recorded that one.
I also love Mood Swings, WOTW and Higher. Those would be my four must haves....although I gladly have them all in my collection.
My least favorites (excluding the Rubber years) would be Voice Of Reason and Hope, darker, moodier and the hooks are not as memorable to me.
No Voice of Reason? Blasphemer!!!
-
Hope the album is good but the cover is shit. Looks cheap but if the album rocks, who cares?
-
I don't spin Hope as much as the rest though I do like it, but I certainly don't want another one like the debut which hasn't stood the test of time for me. I love Mood Swings of course, Voice of Reason, Believe, WOTW & Higher the most.

Seems it's going to get us all at some point. Never been more scared of anything honestly...it's something we are doing to ourselves. There are so many foods that are legal in the U.S. that aren't in other countries. I'm not saying it's just a U.S. thing but something is going on...I hope all mentioned above beat this thing.

Love it!

The album with Vai
I don't think the tone sucked. If anything he just wasn't a great fit for that band. Did you not like his DLR sound either?
As for the album, which it know you didn't say it was bad but I have to say its my third fave from the band behind 1987 and Slide it In

Just stop.
a mate of mine commented the other day that on the last tour his vocals were weak as hell.
Doesn't surprise me, as they're even rusty at best on those last two studio albums. He still sounds okay, but it is evidently not nearly the Coverdale of the past on those two CDs.
He's 95, what do you expect?
In all seriousness though, I hope I look like him at his age. The vox are getting rough though.

Hopefully its not Steve Vai again.
SOTT was killer!
-
Second best pass rusher in the draft at pick 23, I'll take it! Still need safety and wide out though.
-
The return of Lion is imminent.
I'd take Bad Moon Rising as well!
-
Happy bday!

Bahahahaha.
If you want to hear facts, then always. Sadly for you, though, the hatred for 'Rat Race' is not limited to any one nationality. People with good taste in music from all over the globe will, and have expressed their dislike for that song.
True. But since when do we trust the word of those bleeding Aussies?still dont understand all the hate for 'Rat Race'.......loved that track since first listen on You Tube.
Because it's throw-away crap. IM(and most other people's)O, of course.
By globally I guess you mean 15 people on this forum lol.
Head over to wingers facebook page and check out the vid there and youll find around 150 comments underneath expressing love for the song.
Also havent (yet) read one negative comment on the song in the many official reviews online.
But, who, apart from Geoffrey, on this site hates the song? I know some didn't think it was amazing - can't recall who, though - but did someone else say it was shit?
I like it and most of the rest of the album. It's doing well on the charts by today's standards as well.

Anyone have any idea what this is worth? I obtained a copy on cassette from a great fan who saw them at a show, and got this tape at the gig!
Cassettes don't sell for much. Wonder if it was pressed in vinyl?

I say Extreme's last is much better than Hurtsmile
And how are we playing this? Are we acknowledging that Extreme's last album was the equivalent of dying via method of crushed testicles, or are we pretending it was okay? Because for me, it was terrible beyond horrors, and yes, Hurtsmile was even worse. Very ugly situation all round.
Their last studio album ranks in the top 2 or 3 for me. I actually only disliked maybe one track.

It is better for sure, but they don't sound that much different. I wish Extreme would quit fucking around and put out a new cd. Not to mention all their demo's from before they got signed are out there. I'd love to have a mastered version of those.

I don't know anything about the pic above but I use to like this cd. Not sure if it stood the test of time for me now though.
