Shame...the band sounded tight. Jani has no one to blame but himself.

I think this is the worst album so far this year...

Though I'm not really a big fan of Banshee (really haven't heard anything other then "Cry In The Night")... I have to say it seems that this issue is being handled professionally and with much class. And, of course, there is something to be said for that.

 

Good luck with the Rocklahoma show and future sales of the CDs.

Who knows...? I may even wonder over and check out the Banshee set at Rocklahoma.

Take 'em By Storm is their best release & is essential but all three releases are good. The riffs on TEBS are just amazing though!

Must say too this is a very good album. I'm taking it with me today on my long drive. Looking forward to it!

I don't think I've ever heard a Baton Rouge song in my life... Have always meant to check them out, but I have a horrible feeling their gonna sound like Slaughter or Poison....

Slaughter and Poison could only dream to sound as awesome as Baton Rouge. BR blow them both away. Not even in the same league! Can you tell I'm a huge fan

They sound nothing like Poison or Slaughter. I really like the debut but they were never on the same planet as Poison or Slaughter. I think the record sells would show that too. Still, it's a very good album.

The ballad on the cd is pretty good (if you like ballads) but I wasn't that crazy about the rock song. I would pick up a new studio album in a second though!

I don't know weather there has been a post on the about mentioned indivdual if so he deserves another one if not he deserves one anyways.. I have been buying from Mike on and off ebay for some time (hes the only seller that I have spent big bucks on that I have never spoke to on the phone (thats shows how much of a good seller I feel he is anyways his prices off and on ebay are great he states condition and descriptions are accurate Hes a top class seller and collector my hat goes off to such an awesome seller My goal when I grow up is to be a moniter here just like Mike Thanks again you rawk!

Ha, I didn't even realise they were on both albums but immediately though thought that project when I saw this one first. I can, without hearing them, agree that I think the SOTU version of 'Dead man's shoes' is much better, though, as I didn't like anything off the Twenty4Seven disc. 'Good times' is a really bad song and I can't imagine anyone making it sound decent.

 

 

 

You didn't like "Good Times"? I thought it was pretty good tune. There's a ballad towards the end that is just terrible though. My only complaint on the entire album.

Saints of the Underground-Love the Sin, Hate the Sinner

 

After hearing samples I wasn't to sure about this one but someone was cool enough to let me hear the whole cd and after one full listen I loved it so much I just ordered it. It's shameful that a Major Label isn't releasing this cd. This cd should be in every major retailer including Best Buy, Walmart and Target and there are quite a few songs that would not be out of place on radio today. "Signs of Life" has major potential to be a massive hit on Rock Radio as does "Tomorrow Never Comes". There's also many others that have possible top 40 potential like "Dead Mans Shoes", "Bruised" and maybe even the Tom Petty cover "American Girl", which could go nicely on a movie soundtrack. Big props to Jani, Kerri, Bobby and Robbie for coming up with a collection of songs that should appeal to both 80's rock fans and Modern Rock fans. In a perfect world this would sell two million copies, but in reality will probably sell 10,000 if they're lucky, either way every Melodic Rock fan should own this cd so if you don't go to cdbaby.com and order it it's only $11.99 which is a steal IMO.
