  1. I am wondering as well. Paul LECOEUVRE (see my other thread). He call himself AORpaul as well. He also has this web page: http://monsite.orange.fr/aorpaul
  2. The lad which I talked about in the earlier post is called Paul LECOEUVRE. He call himself AORpaul as well. I didn't want to reveal his name earlier if he would have answer any of my last mail. Now it has gone so long so I don't think he will ever contact me. As I said in the other post I have done two or three trades with him before and everything was fine. He also has this web page: http://monsite.orange.fr/aorpaul
  3. What the hell? That's not a combination I like at all. Why would they need him? I've never heard that rumor before but I do have an old Metal Edge mag from 2003(I think) with Tom Keifer where he talks about having all of these new Cinderella songs their working on. Yeah, I can't see that the two styles are interchangable at all... would be amazed if they had been working together. Geoff, This is from Peterik's wep page (It was a little bit earlier than what I remembered): 98: Jim continues to tour with The Ides of March. Co-writes three songs for CMC artists VanZant including single release "Can't Say It Loud Enough". Co-writes with Lynyrd Skynyrd, REO Speedwagon ( "Just for You" from new ballads album), Blackhawk and Christian artist Al Denson (co-wrote title cut "Tabula Rasa"). Writes with Cinderella for future Sony release. Writes "Dream Angel" with Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys for brand new Giant release. Produces Toronto blues artist Anthony Gomes. Produces R&B act Marzette Griffith (formerly of Essence). Continues solo performing –
  4. I think they kind of lost it after the Mission album. I think Paradox II damage control was fairly rubbish as well. The hooks weren't there anymore. It's kind of sad for me since Royal Hunt have done some of my favorite albums of all time. I am still a giant fan of the old albums (Fuck, I even have the logo tattoed on my shoulder) but the band does not really interest me anymore, which is really sad .
  5. I really want this. I have only heard one song at that was top-notch!!!
  6. Didn't they write new songs with Jim Peterik in the early 2000 and he was suppose to produce it as well?
  7. I gave up today and told him that he could send me one of the new cd:S from his web page. I really hope he sends me this cd otherwise,,,,,,,
  8. I try to think good of all people and he propably not screwed me but he then could just send the cd:s back to me , if he does not want to sort out the Innocence album. That is fine with me. He propably wanted the cd:s I had up for offer really badly and now he don't want to part ways with them!!!
  9. Hi all, I usually don't write long post but I thought I needed the write one tonight. As most of you know I have a posted a new trade list here and on the Melodic Rock web page as well. Yoo may also have noticed that I'm after the Saxon album Innocence is no excuse. A french lad (I don't think he is a member here, he propably saw the post over at MR) contacted me and said he had the Innocence album and Twisted Sister Love is for suckers. I told him that I was interested in the Saxon album. I had already got the Ts album from Bob here. I had traded successfully with this guy before so thought it was nit going to be a problem. We agreed on a trade including the Saxon album and two other cd:s I found at his web page. After a week I recieved the package from him. I was really surprised that it didn't contain the Innocence is no excuse cd. Instead it contained the Crusader album by the same artist. This is an album a didn't want. I sent him an email asking why it did'nt contain the correct Saxon cd. He said he made a misstake. He didn't have the Innocence album. He thought I was after the Crusader album all along. He told me to chose another album from his web page and keep the crusader album because of his misstake. I thought it was strange how he could have missread my post and both me and himself wrote the Innocence is no xcuse album in the email conversation at least five times. I could not find a cd I did'nt have or want so I told him that he had to sort out a copy of the Innocence album or we should cancel the deal and send the cd:s back. Now he has not answered me in five days (he is usually quick to answer) and I'm starting to get annoyed. Did I do the correct thing to demand him to find me a copy of the Innocence album. Does anyone else have any other advice how to sort this mess. Oh my good what a long post, Almost the same lenth as the Bible.
  10. I'm 100 % behind Tim and WEs on this one. I think the song ain't good enough and production is fairly rubbish. Their first 3 albums is just maigic and world upside down is also damn good but this one doesn't have it.
  11. Ali Rock

    W.E.T

Sounds really good. I kind of like Eric Mårtensson, Eclipse latest was very good and he wrote some great songs on the last Sturm und DRang album. This must be the last recording for "Marre".
  12. The Network disc is fairly good as well but it doesn't really come close to the standard of the Heavens Edge IMO. It is more in the Aor direction with Mark Evans (singer in HE) on bass and Larry Baus on vocals (from Red Dawn). It was recorded before the Heavens EDge album, in 89 I think.
  13. Much have been said about this fantastic album. I bought it when it was released and have listened to it so many times. The other day I put it in cd-player again for the million time and it was as good as ever. I think it has everything. A great blend of rockers and melodic master tunes. Fantastic production by Neil Kernon, yes everything. You get tears in your eyes and the hair on your back look like the hair of a punk rocker when you hear anthems like Find another way, Bad reputation, Daddy's little girl and Come play the game. It's one of the cd:s in my collection that I have listened to most times. And it is easily in my list of the best 10 albums of all times.
  14. I saw that the Last Temptation album with Frank Vestry is being re-issued bed (see below). Has anyone heard it. Can it be compared to Marcello/Vestry. "New York based rockers Last Temptation have just re-released their record which is available now. Vocalist Frank Vestry of Marcello/Vestry says: “This is a record that we've all worked very hard on and that we think the Melodic Rock Community will really like. I also think the Marcello fans will enjoy Arnie's guitar style”. Guitarist/Songwriter/Producer Arnie Miot started the group and along with Vestry and bassist Steve Hervatic made a big buzz on the New York scene in the early 90s. The band also states: "We felt that it was time to finally release this record the right way. So here it is, Better Late Than Never. We hope you enjoy it!"
  15. A great release. I have heard it a number of times and I think it's better that then first part. It is overall a better album with less fillers. It open fantastic with Tony Martin which is the strongest song on the album. The Highlights is also Shame on you, Rock me, Lay down to rest and the agressive melodic rocker Down the drain with Paul Sabu not that different from spifire from the Sabu album.
  16. I'd love to see both get a reissue and I'd love to hear the Portugese Joker. There's a link for the Portugese Joker in your mailbox.
  17. Here is the demos: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LPCBPBAI If anyone is interested. There is also a Joker tribute page on the net (Sorry Wes I forgot to tell): geocities.com/joker_tribute http://www.myspace.com/tributejoker You can also find loads of live clips on YOutube as well.
  18. I think all their albums are great. I even like the dawn album. The debut is better than screw it IMO. But the Crown jewel for me is Cockroach album with Paul laine on Vocals.
  19. Cool deal is just excellent, much better than the dut IMO. That is fairly cheap i think. Was it really A third album. Wasn't that just a bunch of demos. I would love a reissue of Cool deal.
  20. Firstly I want to say that I have allways loved Priest both live and on vinyl/cd. I've seen Priest many times since 86 and the Metal God ain't the god he used to be. His voice is fairly rubbish these days and he hardly moves around the seen anymore. He definitally can't the highest notes anymore. I actually thinks it's quite sad to see him on stage these days.
  21. I totally agree with the drums. The rest of was great IMO, songs, performance and the songs, especially Fireworks and Love injection.
  22. The production on the second disc is superior IMO. Don't look down is amazing.
  23. I read through the credits of the album the other day and saw that Cory Taylor sings lead on THree songs (metal, Asian and another song). Does anyone knows how much he sings?
  24. It's late but I have finnally bought and listen to this alot. I have read all the different stuff about it in this thread. First time I listened to the album many of the lyrics made me cry. They were just hillarious. After a while they didn't bothered me that much and I really started listen to the songs. There are some really good 80-ies hardrock songs on this baby. I like the more melodic stuff like Fat girl, party all day and hell is on fire. It might be easier for me to not think about the lyrics that much since english is not my native language.
  25. I remember theit first album Roots of hate produced by none other than Sefan Kaufmann of Accept fame. That cd was great, alot different compared to the rest of their discography. It sound more like a polished version of 80-ies Accept.
