  1. Walking the Razor's Edge is a much better album Wes. Although I do love Does a Fool Ever Learn from NRFTW. Chris Laney~ Pure. Wow. Killer stuff here. Kind of a mix of music on this one. Guitar driven tracks and some more AOR-ish songs too. This one has it all for everyone on this board. Check it out, it's recommended.
  2. What's with the Slayer Wes? I guess everyone needs a bit of pissed off at the world music huh? Spinnin' Nasty Nasty~ Not Hard To Swallow
  3. I had a 1554 from the New Belgium Brewery tonight. Very tasty. Now I am sipping a Spice Rum and Diet Coke w/ Lime. Good times. Even though my Sioux pissed a two goal lead down their leg and are now out of the NCAA hockey playoffs
  4. Mechanical Resonance~ Best debut album EVER. Great Radio Controversy~ Not one bad song on it. 7 Wishes~ Just to give NR a little respect. Great album and my fave from the band. Bust A Nut~ Probably my least fave of the stellar Tesla catalog but hardly a bad album. Five Man Acoustical Jam~ Groundbreaking at the time. Forever More~ Tesla just keeps churning out fine music. To sum it up, Tesla is the better band. No doubt. But I do love the Night Ranger.
  5. Too Fast For Love by a mile. Shout At the Devil by a mile. Invasion of Your Privacy by a smidge. Dancing Undercover by a tad. Dr. Feelgood by an arm's length. New Tattoo by a ton.
  6. All for Queeny but the last one. Tribe sucks.
  7. I guess it could be worse you could like Winger IV and Steelheart Good 2B Alive like I do. I actually haven't heard all of thr Steelheart, but I kinda liked Winger IV, wasn't great from a songwriting perspective IMHO but the playing and production were both very good! The vocals on the Steelheart are flat out incredible but the songs are all growers and really modern and sound nothing like the first two albums but if released under a different name would be much more appreciated IMO. As an avid modern rock fan, not so sure about that, mate. I would have been very open to a good modern rock sounding disc from Steelheart, but it just really didn't work at all for me. There are a million better modern rock albums than that one, imo. Maybe my use of the word modern is off but what I mean is the sound is much more up to date and it in no way sounds like an 80's hard rock cd but it doesn't sound modern in the same way that someone would describe the sound of such bands as Shinedown. I will be gentle. Steelheart=SUCK
  8. Killer uptempo hard rock with significant balls, but real big backing vocals in the choruses, remeniscent of Michal Morales' 2nd and 3rd albums. Own this. You'll dig it. I guess Crazy Lixx is another decent comparison. Damn, I LOVE, LOVE Crazy Lixx and this one is so good. So good. The backing and chorus vocals are HUGE on this one. Stellar. Agree with Geoff on this one, great album.
  9. atleast you got to experience it once!!! It was the best time EVER.
