  1. I ain't the best at guessing, but this newby sure fits the James Arwine pattern the id is: bmetalfan . He is new and is bidding or has bid on crap load of stuff. He is new since the 3rd of January and has already bid on 29 items. Maybe I'm jumping the gun. T-Bone, Stormspell or Michael are the true Arwine spotters, they may be able to confirm or deny. Could he have reproduced and metamorphed himself under a new Ebay identity?
  2. I picked up the first Not By Choice called Maybe One Day for 6$, near mint. I can ship it 10$ without the jewelcase and 12$ with the case. Let me know. Cheers, Dave
  3. Hey Geoff, I'm heading out this morning on holidays for the next week or so. While I am gone I will try to fish out any of the two Not By Choice discs. I know one local pawn shop that has the first one. The first one is fluffy pop/punk, catchy as hell! I hear the second one is much darker and I think heavier. I will let you when I get back. I also know of a cd that you may enjoy, very punk though. They are called Lame and it was produced by Pete Lesperance and Harry Hess. I believe it was the first release on their VESPA (Pete and Harry's label) label back in '96. To me this was the first sign of Harem Scarem entering the nu-breed realm. They have a picture of the album cover on the HS website. Happy New Years!
  4. I would pick Extreme, they aren't on the list but the improvement from the solid self titled release in 1989 and the masterpiece Pornograffitti in 1991, is....historical. From the poll list I enjoy Cherry Pie more than DRFSR from Warrant.
  5. You have to admire his tenacity at being the prick that won't go away. A serial bad-bidder? Although he's still a thorn in our sides, he sure gives us something to bitch about. May he get a lump of coal in his Christmas stocking and a NARU tag added to his new Ebay id.
  6. He doesn't ship to Canada, who the F**k doesn't ship to Canada. Germany, France and Italy are also on his list non shipping countries. Yet he will ship to Poland and Mexico, which are countries that even Canada Post has advised me not to ship to because the postmen like to keep other peoples mail. The item photos look legit. Although having 2 or 3 Spread Eagle and Badlands up at the same time is just plain stupid and gives me a bad feeling about the seller. He also doesn't ship to Canada and for that kiss my
  7. There is a new Ebay buyer with zero feedback from Austria that goes by the name rockcdmaster. Could it be out friend Thomas Ringseis? He has bid on Michael Butt's Quota cd up for auction. Michael can you do us sellers a favour and find out if this buyer is or ain't the same guy. If so I want to block him asap.
  8. Hey Geoff, I know I can probably find a copy of the first Not By Choice release for 6$. If you are interested let me know. I can ship it to Australia, without the jewel case for like 4$. I haven't heared their second release, it didn't get much press around here and may find itself OOP very soon. Cauterize, Not By Choice and Sum-41 are all from the Ajax area, a small suburb town about 30 minutes east of Toronto. Only a few minutes from Ajax is Oshawa where Harem Scarem and Emerald Rain are from. Must be something in the water in that area. Cheers, Dave
  9. Another band you may like that are from Canada is called Not By Choice. Similar to Hedley, maybe a bit poppier. The band that does it for me is Waltham, amazing!
  10. BTW, thanks for that too mate. Was he the "rocker" of the series? Do you know if he had been in the current Hedley band for a while before he went on Idol? I'd love know if it is a long-standing thing or something that came together after the show? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was the rocker of the bunch, his stage presence was a thing of beauty. One night he came out in spandex and did a kick ass version of Space Oddity. Hedley, is the name of the town in British Colombia where the boys are from. This is their first release and seem to be relying on Jacob's claim to fame. I honestly don't know if they are having any success. Probably more than Cauterize, at least in these parts of the world.
  11. The lead singer of Hedley - Jacob Hogarth finished 3rd in last years Canadian Idol contest. Was by far the best showman on the show. I got the cd the week it came out. Good stuff, not very original but very catchy for lovers of nu-breed. You got a reply to this post.
  12. Alright Koogles you beat me to the punch by one minute. Not next time. I will be quicker, faster and yet not any wiser. On Guard!
  13. Kinda late to decide to keep your feedback private. Do it from the start, not all of a sudden after accumulating 11 negative feedbacks in a month. Too bad there's no smilies of Forman's dad from that 70's Show, saying ''Dumbass''.
  14. The negatives just keep adding up. Can you say NARUed? Please just kick him off
  15. This guy wants his money right away, yet he never pays or takes his sweet time. I had to threaten him with negative feedback if payment wasn't sent, finally paid after over a month. Piss me off, I forgot to block the bidder, still has to pay for another item he just won. Look at his feedback now. Not the most trustworthy is an understatement.
  16. En français, j'ai le coeur chaud de voir telles paroles.
  17. Sign me up! This guy has taken too much of my time not to see him go down. Lon, I will join you on this petition crusade, to rid us of one James Arwine.
  18. I second Michael on that one. I would use extreme caution with this Thomas guy, very slow payer on Ebay, had to send reminder after reminder, threats finally worked. Cheers, Dave
  19. Another thing I don't get is that the label and seller are stating that these cd's are rare, super rare, ultra rare. They even goes as far as to say the Friction is one of the rarest cd's on the planet, it is hyper rare. Since they can reproduce as many as they want, when they want and also buyers around the world can now simply go to the retrospect records site and buy directly, how can they be RARE! When a cd is out of print and can only be found very, very rarely in some used cd shops or pawn shops in another city, province, state or even country, now that is RARE! Those cd's were long lost gems, now they are cubic zirconia, very expensive cubic zirconia.
  20. This so called label is killing the love of finding or simply hoping of finding rare treasures. It is re-releasing cd after cd, go check on Ebay. Pretty soon Winger will become more sought after and harder to find than the Rock Boulevard's of the world. Certain albums should be re-released, just not everything one can lay one's hands on.
  21. The loser got NARUed again. I don't want to die for ripping me off, I just want to break all his fingers, so he can't use a computer. Screw it!, I could care less if he died.
  22. Those Retrospect Records don't seem to be doing so well. I guess buyers have decided to wise up. I hope there aren't too many printed, because only a handful have sold so far. All good things.....
  23. The same seller is now selling porn on Ebay, wonder if they are 2005 re-issues of good ol' 70's porn. I hope Ron Jeremy gets his cut from these.
  24. Vegascd's is selling a wack load of super rare titles like Alyse, Friction, Liquid Mirror, Razor Baby and Toy Roz They are all re-issued in 2005 on a label called Retrospect Records does this record label have a website where we directly purchase the cd's and not have to bid, just buy directly from the label? First time I ever hear about this label. Will they be re-issuing the Surrender cd or some other record label? Funny that no other seller has jumped the gun and try to sell the Friction cd, it can get up to 100$, nice!
