Agree with the majority here - New Religion
Their best album from the opening riff of ''Rock And A Hard Place'' to the last gang vocal chorus of ''Voodoo Woman'' a modern classic

If you go over to MR.com today you will witness the worst promo pictures ever for a band.
Those pics make Tenacious D look more like a legit rock band.
Funny you say that cause when I saw the video for ''Think of Love'' the first time I though that might have been Jack Black singing when he was younger
-
Cheers mate!
Will order it anyway, was just hoping it would be silver pressede though.
No worries. Yeah me too, at least it's a cool looking album cover so that's a plus
-
I'll give it a go, but I expect very little from it.
Hopefully we'll be pleasantly surprised ;-)
-
All right here it goes - Tattoo, She's The Woman, Big River..... hahahaha joking guys
Top ten Van Halen songs for me:
Mean Street
Hear About It Later
Jamie's Cryin
Feel Your Love Tonight
Ice Cream Man
Panama
I'll Wait
Women In Love
You're No Good
You Really Got Me
House of Pain (forgot this one, shame on me! so it's 11 tracks screw it)
Some tracks were AMAZING live judging from old videos (like Romeo Delight and Dance The Night Away) but not that great on record so I didn't include them. And I do like the Sammy Hagar era, it's just that I don't like the best Hagar songs as much as I like the best DLR songs so there ya go

So... how you guys feel about this so far? Looking forward to it / not even gonna listen to it? Good band in general or a pass? I personally still have hopes for this, from the comments not too many people on here seem to like it though
Might be a case of the potential was there but not fully used
-
Can anybody confirm the physical version is silver pressed or comes as a CD-R?
It's a CD-R, ''booklet'' is a two-sided inlay
-
Of the four naked woman this one is the least sexiest....no guitar solo is like seeing a flat chested naked women...just not the same.
I agree, just not the same. It's okay sometimes although... VERY rarely

Yeah the production is kind of...... I don't know let's call it ''special'' and considering it was released in 1990 even more so
-
Re-watched The Godfather 1 + 2, not as impressive as seeing them for the first time 2 or 3 years ago but good movies nonetheless
-
Also, if you like angry humour -- that's the best I can describe it -- check out Chris Porter.
My other favourite is Brian Regan. Perfectly clean, if that's a concern, and very funny. A lot of his jokes have become every day phrases for me and my family and friends.
Oh yeah Brian Reagan is great, seen one of his more recent specials plus a very old one, mullet included ;-)
Another one I like who is I think one of the most recognized these days is Louis CK. Never disappointed up to now and am excited to see what he comes up with next. Although I think he's busy with other stuff like TV shows etc.so might be a while until his next comedy release
Also like what he did years ago with his Beacon special, released it for 5 $ and everybody could download it from his site. No middle man, available shortly after it was shot which I think is great, a couple other comedians followed suit

I just want to understand what makes a person obviously think, "I am going to be the ugliest human being I can possibly be." What the fuck is the appeal in this?
HAHAHAHAHAHA, damn... I'm no psychologist or anything and definitely don't want to spend too much time or thought on this but maybe it's their very special form of ''rebellion''
-
Didn't know Peter Kay, will have to check out his stuff. You're from Canada, aren't you? Russel Peters isn't ''hip'' anymore over there is he?
-
Had a good laugh around the time ''Babylon'' came out when Blackie said in an interview that the fans responded to them playing ''Crazy'' like it was an old classic
I was like duh... that's because they thought they were hearing ''Wild Child''
-
Surely I'd prefer Paul Laine to sing some Marillion also.
Hahahahaha, laughed out loud at that one
-
Got tickets for Stuttgart in October, 40 euro
Gonna be a nice trip / show
-
Any stand up fans here? Who are your favorites, any recommendations or newcomers to look out for?
I like Sebastian Maniscalco (his first special and ''What's wrong with people'' which is on youtube were both great) although his last one ''Aren't you embarrassed'' wasn't that great.
And of course Bill Burr always delivers.

Welcome to the ''Sweet Asylum''......
...... and don't forget to breathe

April 15 is just around the corner... Friday next week we'll know more
Defiants, Treat and (have to admit, kind of interested in hearing this one as well -->) Shiraz Lane will see the light of day
-
Must admit this didn't have any longevity with me.
I like the songs but they do tend to be very similar after awhile
Wow, basically my thoughts in a nutshell! All sounds kind of ''samey'' maybe it's a lack of diversity in the lead guitar department as well

I don't know I've always felt the new W.A.S.P. albums - despite the first track released always instantly making a good impression - lack something that the older albums had. Don't get me wrong I have no problem listening to it, Blackie's voice still sounds good, instruments are all there etc. I don't know if it's the songwriting or the production is too modern and becomes boring after a while but I can never listen to a full album of theirs whereas I have no problem sitting through ''The Headless Children'' in its entirety or one of their other early albums. There's songs on all old releases I don't particularly like but the bad tracks are fewer and less boring than they've been on more recent albums.

WTF man.... Why would she even want to share this on the internet?
-
Strangeways - Walk In The Fire and I agree with Love Hate ''Blackout In The Red Room'' a few have mentioned before. Maybe Slik Toxik's ''Doin' The Nasty'' as well, never really listened to ''Irrelevant'' but from what I heard so far it's not that good

Probably 5 or 6 new tracks and re-use some of the songs from the EP![:D](//content.invisioncic.com/r42935/emoticons/default_biggrin.png)
