Give it time. It does grow on you, but on first few listens it sounds like a mess (due to the awful mixing). The "Desparate Business" album is better though IMO. Playing:- CHICAGO XXX TESLA - Into the Now <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Brian Macdonald definately hits the spot in the end - As TIM (2) suggests - live with it a while. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Brian Mcdonald Wind it up is actually growing on me now! - just thought it would have a little more initial punch NP: Harem Scarem - The Early Years

Brian McDonald - Wind it up thought itd blow me away but it hasnt yet, and only a few songs have been catchy

i got Place Vendome - s/t and i dont think its as good as everyone makes out, its decent, but not a gem... not even sure ill keep it... its just not doing anything for me so far apart from a few songs

yeh i hope you get your cd, i dont think there will be a prob, i was very happy with the elivery all teh way to australia. just wouldve been nice to get an email saying theyd received payment. but otherwise good prices and service

i think you should. i emailed them to ask if they had received my payment and they just told me they had sent it. it wouldve been nicer if they had emailed me when they received the cash and sent it. i ordered Theocracy - s/t..... brilliant cd

I agree and was also wondering if the Mariah discs are as good a quality as the Manilla Thills one, as people seem impressed with that. But yeah, from the samples I'd have to say the sound quality was poorer, but IMO Mariah sounded like the better band. Still, I really want both... Defcon sounded f*cking awesome too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i would really love to see images of other discs in the series just to see what they are like. and like geoff, i agree that shipping to australia is very decent.

personally after a quick listen i think the Mariah cd sounds better then Mailla Thrills. are the Mariah discs packaged the same way? cheers!
