  3. Dave...you actually like this CD?? I haven't listened to it for quite some time but my last impression was one of fingernails on a chalk board....
  4. Hardcore Superstar........Dreaming in a Casket
  5. That "E-Z N' Pretty" release is damn hard to come by as I've been looking for some time....as for the other release, it's decent but not mindblowing....
  6. I've got to admit I rarely think about who is the better/best guitarist/drummer/vocalist etc....For me the overall sound/song/music is what matters so you could easily have an average guitarist playing on an excellent song that I will listen to over and over again .....as well you could have an excellent guitarist playing on an average song that I'll only spin a few times.... As for the 2 mentioned players I've listened to more Metallica (up to the Black album) than any of Beach's bands....
  7. Lee Aaron...................Body Rock Serena Rock Band............Rolling on the Road and after hunting for over 2 years finally picked up... Bad Habit......After Hours (JAP)
  8. I like 2 Pearl Jam songs, 'Alive' and 'Even Flow'. The latter is a fantastic song imo. The album, 'Ten', isn't bad. However, every song on Nevermind sounds exactly the same to me. If I ever have to listen to it all the way through again, I will have to hack my ears off. Now with Pearl Jam we are definitely talking about an overrated band.....extremely irritating music IMO....
  9. Hmmm....seems to me the next protest for these morons would be a good place for an IED.....
  10. There were only a few decent grunge bands worth listening to and Nirvana was one of them but they were in no way a classic band with classic releases....as with others here my interests turned to heavy/thrash/melodic death metal at this time....
  11. Sound good enough to pick up IMO..... http://bronz-music.com/ http://www.amazon.com/Carried-Storm-Bronz/dp/B0037Z6UW2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1267040485&sr=8-4
  12. Here's a band whose release just made my pickup list.... http://www.myspace.com/angelinetheband
  13. Tipsy Wit......Songs & Dreams Another release that I had a hard time tracking down....
  14. Not easy but I went with.... Steelhouse Lane....easily the best one House of Lords Dare Bon Jovi Hardline I could easily switch the last 3 around....
  15. Cadillac Bratz...........Fasten Your Seatbelts Michael Furlong.........Use It Or Lose It Idle Cure...............Breakaways
  16. Good chance I'll get this...Exodus is the only thrash band that I still pay any attention to....I've even lost interest in Overkill...
  17. Nice That was the last April Wine release that I was looking for and as for Lee I'm only missing her first S/T release which I hear is not very good and isn't cheaply available....
  18. April Wine............The Whole Worlds Going Crazy Lee Aaron.............S/T Lee Aaron.............Some Girls Do Lee Aaron.............Call of The Wild Lee Aaron.............Metal Queen
  19. Crown of Thorns............Destiny Unknown Dangerous Age..............Troubled Times Dan Lucas..................Canada Deacon Street Project......II Devereaux..................Paint Box Eternal Flame..............Desire Foreigner..................Unusual Heat First Shot.................Midnight Madness Heartland..................Mind Your Head Y & T......................In Rock We Trust
  20. One of my favorite bands and any new release by these guys is a guaranteed pickup...
  21. I remember both of those series, I had a bunch of the "Destroyer" books too (they eventually adapted them into the movie "Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins"), as well as stuff like Nick Carter: Killmaster (a way-cool ripoff of James Bond), the Death Merchant, the Specialist, etc., etc. Yeah I remember Nick Carter and The Death Merchant...must of missed out on the Specialist as I don't recall that one....anyway I remember my mother finding a stack of these books in my room and being so outraged that she burned them....she was obviously concerned about how her little boy was being corrupted ....of course there may have been one of two x-rated sex novels in there as well..
  22. Nice! I used to have a pretty massive collection of those books myself (as well as the related series -- Phoenix Force, Able Team, Stony Man, etc.) -- got rid of'em a few years back (aside from a few personal favorites) when the wife and I had a yard sale. They were taking up too waaaayyyyy much room on our bookshelf Do they still publish new ones? I used to see'em in the book department at K-Mart or Wal-Mart all the time and would still pick up new ones occasionally but now that I think about it I haven't run across any in quite some time. Wow I haven't read The Executioner series since I was a kid......I seem to remember there was several other series along the same lines back then....The Destroyer and The Butcher series come to mind.....
