Not much of a comparison between what is happening in China and what happened in North America. China's covid restrictions are more like a prison where you can't leave the city you're in or even the house you're living in....and if you do you can be beaten and imprisoned....also the Chinese are protesting the overall lack of freedoms not just the draconian covid rules....if any of that had occurred in NA there would have been bloodshed in the streets.....no comparison at all except for those who see everything through a political lens......

Yeah I wasn't expecting them to do much as it is their first World Cup since 86....at least they are competing hard.....now if they start making the World Cup on a regular basis then expectations will rise in the years to come....

Japan beats Germany... WTF!......makes me believe even Canada could get an upset....

Canada is in for the first time since 86 so I'll actually pay attention to this World Cup....at least for the first round...
