  1. My musical tastes are in a constant state of flux...years ago I would never have thought I would like death metal but I found myself getting into it in the late 90s....now I can't stand music with unintelligible vocals.....lately I have been losing interest in AOR and leaning towards heavy metal...bottom line if I listen to the same type of music day after day, I eventually start to lose interest as the bands start to sound the same....
  2. Anthropoid (2016) - well done WWII thriller based on the true story of the assassination of SS General Reinhard Heydrich... Assassin's Creed (2016) - okay actioner but not something I would care to watch again... Air (2015) - starring Norman Reedus in a futuristic end of the world flick...wait that sounds familiar...not a bad film...
  3. Needless to say this is not for everyone....lol
  4. Rapid Fire (1992) - one of Brandon Lee's last flicks and still decent Shadow Conspiracy (1997) - Charlie Sheen in an action flick ...back when he appeared normal..lol
  5. The one release that I always reach for when I want my Overkill fix is W.F.O....
  6. Solace (2015) - decent thriller about a serial killer, good cast as well... Two pretty good underwater flicks... Below (2002) and Leviathan (1989) Graveyard Shift (1990) - one of the better Stephen King film adaptations.
  7. Good band...the vocals are fine...the last release was quite good so I'll most likely get this one...
  8. I'm partial to C.H.U.D. myself - lots of tongue in cheek humor ("Your guy has a camera. MY guy has a flame thrower!") and it had an impressive cast (John Heard, Daniel Stern, and a brief cameo by John Goodman, years before he was famous)!! Yeah I recognized him, Prison had a very young King Aragorn from Lord of the Rings as the star....
  9. Why not?!?!?! They have all these exciting sophisticated computers and satellites. The only way for you to get a personal weather forecast would be for them to input your GPS co-ords into a central computer and compute it for you...maybe someday but not today...
  10. Seen all of these "Maniac Cop 2" is my fave in that series, I do not recommend "3" tho, it's pretty weak. It's been years since I saw "Prison" so I honestly remember very little about it. I know the director (Renny Harlin) went on to do "Die Hard 2" and "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane," for whatever that's worth. Big dumb shoot em ups were his specialty, he was kinda like the Michael Bay of the 80s. ...then he married Geena Davis, put her in a bazillion dollar pirate movie ("Cutthroat Island") that bombed bigtime, and the poor bastard has been stuck in Direct To Video Hell ever since. Prison was the best of the 3...not that that means much lol...
  11. I'll admit they screw up quite often but getting the weather right, outside your door, every day would be unbelievable....where I live they make their predictions and usually they are right, however they may say 8 inches of snow in my area and I will get 3-4 inches but if I travel 5-10 minutes north I will see the 8 inches of snow or maybe they say it will rain and I'll have to travel a few miles east west or north to see the rain....being good enough that they can predict the exact weather for everyone of us will not happen....
  12. Need to hear samples as the last really impressive release was Higher for me....
  13. Watched some old B-flicks....FF would love them.... C.H.U.D (1984) Maniac Cop 2 (1990)...got the other 2 in this series...not sure if I can handle 2 more..lol Prison (1988)
  14. I have as much interest in this release as I would in having bleeding hemorrhoids...
  15. Not bad...I won't track it down but I wouldn't ignore it if I saw it cheap somewhere....
  16. The second song is better than the first but still average....I may pass on this one...
