Oh contrair .....I was in a local Walmart tonight to pick up a couple of things (1 they didn't have ) & since I was close to the music section I noticed the full she-bang for the Kiss stuff. The Sonic Boom had a fairly big sign above it.....a few steps away was a mini-bar like area full of the potato heads/Kiss M&M's & assorted goodies. Although I didn't have too much time to check 'em all out, I did look at the M&M's which I believe were only two colors with band member emblems/signs on 'em. So, at least this one store was loaded with all the Kiss goodies as well as promotin' 'em quite well! I dunno if the folks at Walmart woulda been too happy if I had wanted to take a pic or two of that section mostly so as to post 'em & help further promote the Kiss stuff here! Perhaps I'll ask 'em next time?

I had one a while back....... Went to a local ffj (fast food joint) & after orderin' (an ordeal in itself with some places) there were two teenage fembod's in what seemed to be a semi-bushwackin' hidin place 'round the corner of the menu......once I moved 'round & they spotted me, they moved in ......only to hand me a promo flyer for 10% off my next order (which was kinda cool).....but......& here's where/when the metal moment occurred.....the buggerettes gave me a rather unique combination of looks ( & ) when they heard some of the tunes that I had cranked! Perhaps they were a tad concerned as what was bein' amped outta my player? I was listenin' to some Talisman......maybe they didn't like the lyrics to the song...but WTF? Ok.....the song was Dangerous, but c'mon.......it's not like I was crankin' out some Sabbath or Alice Cooper!
