  1. i agree,, although fiona is kinda in the fun-to-listen-to-but-don't-let-your-friends-know-you-have-the-cd category. and all the songs about relationships dont pack any of the emotional triggers they did when you were a teenager. I like Fiona CDs - especially 'Squeeze,' but I always thought she had a pretty weak voice to be honest. Especially on the awesome 'Squeeze' disc. Still, the albums are great so that's all that really matters. Except the last one - that just sucks, vocals and all. Agreed. Her voice was sexy but not great at all.
  2. Franny and Zooey by J. D. Salinger
  3. Pat Benatar is an icon, hands down. I think it's time to listen to her albums again. It's been a while.
  4. Wow, they are the Portuguese Mercyful Fate, right? Btw "Sábado Negro" means Black Sabbath which is cool.
  5. She's not bad but nothing outstanding. Btw the song is way too average. My favourite female singer is still Sandi Saraya.
  6. My kids liked this one so much that they want me to get them "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" next. Thankfully I'm borrowing them from the public library, therefore the number of repeat viewings will be minimal. The second movie is better imo. Maybe you will like it too.
  7. After the first spin I say it's a rockin' album indeed! Here and there MHR, here and there sleaze, and some tunes remind me of Place Vendome, but overall it's great and absolutely enjoyable. Even the Haddaway(!) cover is a good one. Recommended.
