Down - Down IV Part I - The Purple EP
Nice return from the best southern/sludge metal band. Though it's ridiculous that instead of one full album they are about to release four(!) EP-s in a row.
ZZ Top - La Futura (Okay, Jez, it's getting better with every spin I guess... )
Lovebite - Lock 'N' Load
Van Halen - A Different Kind Of Truth
Devil's Blood - The Time Of No Time Evermore
Sure is, what about 'hey baby'?? I love that song - killer vain styled rocker
Hm, maybe this one is my least favourite off the album. Good song though I have to admit but I prefer the 'sleazier' ones.
Mine so far:
1. Van Halen - A Different Kind Of Truth (10/10)
2. Lovebite - Lock 'N' Load (8/10)
3. Jettblack - Raining Rock (8/10)
4. Beverly Killz - Gasoline & Broken Hearts (7/10)
5. ZZ Top - La Futura (6/10)
6. Hollywood Burnouts - Excess All Areas (5/10)
Lovebite - Lock 'N' Load
Now this is an awesome disc for sure. Great sounding, old-school rock 'n' roll with a style. My faves so far "Sin City", "Lock 'N' Load", "Can't Fight Your Love" and "Mr. Lonely".
It could have been a better, cooler movie I think. It it said that the second one is even worse than this. But I've gotta see Chuck Norris in action again.
Talking about gothic/symphonic/etc stuff, my personal favourite singer is Kaisa Jouki from the Finnish band Battlelore.

ZZ Top - La Futura
Well, after the first spin I'd say the previous album (Mescalero) was much better. By the way that one was a great album imo but on this one I couldn't find a single song I really liked. And after nine(!) years this is a weak return for me.
