This dude has me paranoid. I have canceled numerous orders from him through Amazon. Now I am hesitant to sell to ANYONE in Red Lion.
Any reason I should be wary of anyone at this address:
(name nothing near Arwine)
520 W Heatherfield Way
RED LION, PA 17356
Well....according to the official municipal website for this now famous city ( http://www.redlionpa.org/ ) their population is 6,149 people, counting men, women and children and possibly a dog or two......In my opinion, its extremely unfortunate for these 6,149 people should they ever decide to buy anything from me online.......know what I mean????? Hey, for all I know, those 6,149 people could all be inbred into the Arwine family.....!!!!!
I sent the CD out. We will see if anything happens.

I like it so much, sometimes I'll ship my perfect condition inserts to myself just so they can get that impression as well.
-
Glad it all worked out!

Just wondering if he popped up again on eBay, or if anyone suspects him using a different I.D.
Since he's such a dickhead and if he is back or does come back, I find it hard to believe he can keep a low profile on Ebay. I hope he got kicked off for being the asshole that he is and that he fucks off and moves on to some other way of pissing as many people as he can...maybe he'll join the world of politics.
Come on Dave, don't hold back. How do you REALLY feel?

What I am talking about is the mark left on the inserts when a seller ships his/her CDs/inserts to you without jewel cases. The CD is placed inside the inserts for "protection," leaving the perfect impression of a CD on the front, back or both inserts. I have had this happen so many times, and it seems to be a common practice. Personally, it drives me up a wall.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Way to go Dave!!!

Wow! Zane just doesn't seem to get it.

Here's one more thing I do, just in case:
If it is my first time with a customer, and the sale is for over $40, I will insure the package through the USPS myself. Costs me $1.75 for $50 or $2.25 for up to $100. That way if the buyer is going to try to scam me by saying the CD arrived damaged, I just tell them to take it to the USPS and file a claim.
I do this because of an experience I had one time with an eBay customer saying a CD lot I had sold them opened up during shipping, and that some of the items were damaged. To this day I still believe that was a crock of crap, but it turned out to be easier to just give a partial refund. No more with anything over $40 - they have a problem? Then they deal directly with the USPS, not with me.

I sell on Amazon and GEMM. Forget eBay. I do not bother with anything less than $3 (before shipping.) Just not worth the time and hassle. I would never think of sending any CD, no matter what the price, without Delivery Confirmation. I use the Paypal postage link Dan posted on this site a few years back. It has saved me tons of time and I am sure it has spared me aggravation caused by rip-off customers. You cannot beat 19 cents to assure confirmation of delivery! Thanks again, Dan!

a good news for the shill bidding sellers as like japanrarehunter
From the article: "We continue to invest over £6 million every year in industry leading technology to proactively detect shill bidding. We will always work closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure that, on the rare occasion someone attempts to follow in Barrett’s footsteps, they will be stopped and will face the consequences.”
What a load of crap!

He's still at it and Ebay still hasn't removed this fuck.
This is his new id afterthemidnighthourzombies
What a total butt-wipe! This is one of the HUGE reasons I do not deal on eBay any more. EBay cares only about making money, not about protecting anyone except their own interests.
Bite it, eBay and Half.com! My money has gone elsewhere!

Not being aware of this death, I went searching for some info.
I don't mean to sidetrack this thread, but this is an interesting link I found that gives info on numerous deaths in rock/metal over the years:

I wonder what finally got him roasted on ebay?
Yeah, I am really curious about that.

I just checked the shit filter on melodicrock.com as well and sure enough, he tried to sign up there as well. The registrations are not automatic anymore for a good reason, and it seems that this just reinforces it. I sent him a scathing e-mail to tick him off as well. I encourage others to do the same
bgbssmn2@gmail.com
As much as I would love to do this, I am not going to give him my email address.....

Somewhere around here (perhaps earlier in this thread), Geoff posted that he replied to one of these SPAMS by saying "Hey (name of spammer): Fuck You," and the guy actually responded "Dear Geoff: Fuck you too." I have been tempted several times since then to do the same with one of these e-mails but haven't done so yet.
Geoff inspired me. Last night I got a Spam from someone claiming (in hilariously broken English) to be a "single woman" who "saw my profile on the web site" (?) and wanted to get to know me. I couldn't help myself, I responded and said "Hi whatever your name is, please sodomize yourself with a tire iron."
The kicker is ... this morning, I had another message from the same person (subject line: I REVEAL THIS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU), telling me how "gratified" she was by my reply (obviously they didn't read it... heh heh!) and then went on and on about how her late father was a banker in Burkina Faso who left her a stash of money, and she needed my help to get her and the $$ out of the country... y'know, the usual drill. So I responded again, "What, again? Obviously you can't read English. Are you f**king stupid? Leave me the f**k alone."
We'll see what the next reply (if any) brings.
Your ''please sodomize yourself with a tire iron'' comment is the offer of marriage in some countries mate. Let us know how the big day goes
Please invite all of us to the big day!

www_diskheaven_co_kr's 30-day bid summary :
Total bids: 419
Items bid on: 412
Bid activity (%) with this seller: 100%
this rip-off sold total 849 items for last 30 dyas. so he bid on 412 out of 849.
what a crazy shill-bidding fucker
How many did he win from himself? LOL

The only true reason i started using cdinzane was because they always have every import advertised for pre-order before everyone else.
They talk a good game, but if you want to support companies that actually give a damn about their customers, NEH and Wishing Well are much better bets...

It is really a shame that others do not follow their examples.

Wow! What an absolute tool! And Ebay is a tool whore for not getting rid of this dickhead. Sheesh!
Dave, since I sell on Amazon and GEMM, any way you can either publish his name/address here, or else PM me with it in case I run across him on those sites?
His name is Jason Lee and he's from Texas
I know nothing else
Thanks!
