  1. I'll probably only buy 5 or 6 CDs this year, but this one is an absolute must, so I've ordered it from Amazon.fr. Cost 19 Euro including postage, but it's the 2CD version and I just had to get it.

I definitely agree. No matter how many CDs you plan to purchase this year, this one is a MUST. Excellent! :headbanger::guitbannana::beerbang:

  2. Heard some stuff from the new Human Zoo cd called Eyes Of A Stranger.I like the other 2 cd's, and like what I hear from the new one, but could really do without the sax. Anyone else?

I agree - the other two were great. Really looking forward to this one!

  3. Honestly, it boggles the mind. That's the whole purpose of the "good/bad sellers" thread, isn't it?

    I

Absolutely! Why risk it? Jamie and others like him have been a constant prick to sellers over the years. Why wait in anticipation of his possible or eventual attempt to defraud you? I honestly cannot understand why sellers who KNOW about this still attempt to business with him or others like him. Blindjester, I do not mean any offense by this, but I cannot understand the risk you have chosen to take.

Sorry, to me a 70-80% chance of not getting screwed over is not good enough. I cancel Jamie's orders and will continue to do so. He is a scumbag and is not worthy of doing business with anyone on this board. To me he is :baneed:

  4. OK, the recent furor over the 100% rating given to Journey's "Eclipse" got me to digging around to see what other titles have gotten a perfect rating from Andrew over the years, and here they are:

    Mecca - S/T

    Danger Danger-Cockroach

Danger Danger- The Return of the Great Gildersleeves

    Harem Scarem- Higher

Harem Scarem- Weight of the World

    TNT- My Religion

    Toto- Falling in Between

    W.E.T. - S/T

    Treat - Coup De Grace

    Mr. Big - What If...

    Journey - Eclipse

Nothing is ever 100%, as far as I am concerned. The only one of these that is a 90 is Treat - coup de grace. Many of these are in the 60-70 range for me.

  5. I'd cancel the auction, block all the bidders listed and then make a new listing in about 2 weeks. With as many threads as we have loaded with problematic buyers, I'm truly surprised people here still have issues with the same names bidding on their items and some even contemplate chancing the transaction.

I wholeheartedly agree with this suggestion.

I have personally cancelled over $500 worth of sales to Jamie Levine. Just not worth the risk or the hassle.

  6. Update:

A few days ago I received notice from Paypal that they had decided against me....

Needless to say, I was not a happy camper, so I took Chocularok's suggestion and called Paypal. My previous emails had been ineffective.

Got the runaround a little, and spent some time on hold...., but after I finally got to talk to an agent, I found her to be very understanding. I tried to maintain my cool and explain the scam this butthead was attempting. She took great notes and transfered me to someone who could do something about the claim. He was also very understanding and immediately sent through a reversal of the ruling (I got the refund the next day.) Plus he opened up a fraud investigation against good ole' gilson.

Took me about 40 minutes total on the phone with them, but I WON! :party421:

I am not normally one to call people names and use foul language, but this one just really burned me the wrong way... Does he have nothing better to do with his time than try to screw people out of $12, 42 days after the fact? Does he really track that stuff? How very :lame:

So, to gilson, now under investigation by Paypal, I say: :fuckchops::2up:

  7. Chris....I have had a world of trouble selling to South America.....either the packages never arrived or were 4 or 5 weeks. Right now, I have a buyer from Brazil who claims to have mailed the payment to me 4 weeks ago and I am still waiting. For some reason mail service between the States and South America just isn't all that great!!!!

Sorry to hear of your bad experience.

    Delbert

Del, hopefully you did not sell to Gilson R de Arruda! lol

  8. Not lately, but plently of trouble with him a while back. Bought a cd from him that never arrived. Filed paypal dispute. Contacted paypal to see what the status was a couple weeks later & was told that he said I contacted him to let him know that the cd had arrived, which was obviously bullshit. Bottom line, the guy's a scumbag liar & a thief. Paypal ended up refunding all my money, though.

Which side of the transaction are you on...buyer or seller?

I was actually a buyer, but he filed a claim against me, saying I was a seller.

Here's what happened. I purchased a CD through eBay, which was in much worse condition than described. Rather than go through the hassle of sending it back overseas, I said I would accept a partial refund of $12. I said to refund it through eBay. Well he said he could not figure out how to do that and, since he had my Paypal address, he sent me the money through Paypal.

Well, about 42 days after doing this, he files a claim with Paypal about a RATT CD he never received from me. Say what? What a lying SOB.

Well, I sent as much info as possible to Paypal, but because I was limited in the size of documents I could add, I was unable to forward my long list of emails from Gilson, including the one sent through Paypal saying "Here is your refund." I sent emails to Paypal explaining this, but they basically said "We will contact you if we need any additional information." It has been over 3 weeks and still no decision has been made. I got one email from Paypal saying "Sorry for the delay, but we are still reviewing the case." I am nervous about the decision, even though it is a small amount of money.

I am considering charging him with fraud through Paypal. Just do not know if it is worth the hassle.

  9. I just got an order on Amazon from a Jamie Levine from Freehold, NJ.

    Here's his address:

    Shipping to:

    JAMIE LEVINE

    1 ATLANTIS TER UNIT 2

    FREEHOLD, NJ

    07728

    United States

Am I safer selling to him via Amazon or should I just cancel his order?

Cancel that is the only safe option.

Should have listened to you dude!!

That Jamie Levine asshole bought a Blue Tears CD from me and I sent it to him via First Class Mail. He received it 2 days after ordering it and I know that the disc and inserts were in mint condition.

The son of a bitch filed a claim on me. This was an Amazon sale by the way.

I'm ready to hunt this motherfucker down and kick his brains in. :axe:

Jamie Levine............. this is for you FUCKTARD!! :fu:

This guy lives not a 1/2 hour away from me..

I think this means you now have the opportunity to personally talk some sense into him....

I had to cancel yet another Amazon order from him yesterday! :baneed:

  10. It doesn't make sense, it's not even high dollar stuff. This is the reason I'm so done with Ebay.

One of the reasons for me as well. I may bid on items from time to time, but I have not sold there in a LONG time. Their inconsistent enforcement of their own shill bidding rules is disgusting.

Yeah Ebay really, really sucks nowadays. I only bid on the stuff I can't find on Amazon and Musicstack.

Oh yeah I purchased some killer stuff from you on Amazon. Thanks a bunch.

Glad to have a satisfied customer! Thanks!

  11. I can't understand what the hell are you trying to say. You said "dragoon is bad because he uses shill bidding to increase the price of his auctions" & I told you that there are many guys/sellers who are doing the same.

I can't understand why you are playing with words. All the specific 4 accounts kreator/hammerheart/thallos/randomcoils are double accounts (selling & buying). It's all in your mind what are you trying to say about "bidder" or "Seller" kreator. I do compare oranges with oranges. That means sellers with sellers. If you can't understand that simple thing I can't help you. If these are your friends it's a different story too.

By the way is there anyone who have noticed the extremely logical prices of pricekillers' auctions?

    http://completed.shop.ebay.com/pricekillers001/m.html?LH_Complete=1&_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_since=15&_sop=3&_rdc=1&_rdc=2

Thallos didn't bid on any of his auctions this time because he hasn't sold almost anything on his personal auctions. The selling prices were 5 times lower than when he bids. I wish he will be broke forever & save us from his presence...

we are talking "shill bidding" in this topic. right? so when you talk about the guy randomcoil, it means he is also doing shill bidding. you also said he is doing same thing. right? so do you have any evidence he is doing shill bidding? i expect your answer to prove he does shill bidding. stop to saying such stupid answer, "he is doing same thing". if you talk about only kreator, you can be correct. i didn't talk about kreator in here as i don't have any evidence to prove it (even though i guess he is doing it)

i understand you hate him as he outbid you so many times. but that is not shill bidding. if you don't still understand what is shill bidding, go to ebay or some related web site, and study what is shill bidding. we are not talking in this topic about any seller you hate personally.

and don't misunderstand, i am not friend of him. i don't know his real name even.

and finally look the feedback list drgoon / pricekiller / japanrarehunter received. you can find a lot of russian buyers who buy and pay so much. i am sure some of them is reseller. randomcoils is not the only person who buy and sell.

It's close Easter here & I don't want to blame. You use the usual communistic method. your statement : "This apple is blue". my Answer : "There are other blue apples like "X" or "Y" or "Z" why don't you have a problem with those too?" Your turn : ""X" & "Y" & "Z" are not blue apples!" my turn : ""X" & "Y" & "Z" are blue apples because of a,b,c". Your turn : "OK "X" & "Y" MAY be blue apples (according to my guess!) but what about "Z"? If you can't prove it NOW you are stupid, you are a hater, your pennis is small etc". My answer : "I have better things to do than to prove that I'm not an elephant"

Okay, now I am lost. Time to let this thread die....

  12. Just wanted to give a shout out for Sam (Retrospect) for the smooth deals we've made in the last couple of months. I picked up some of his used cds (looked like new) and his shipping time was extremely fast! Packing was fantastic and again the quality of the cds was superb! Would recomend to all! :guitbannana:

Had many, many transactions with Sam when he was on eBay, both through eBay and privately.

The only problem I ever had with the transactions was with his packing (several CDs packed loosely in a box). So glad to hear that he has improved in that regard!

Everything else, as you mentioned, was first class! :guitbannana:

  13. He just purchased a CD from me about 2 weeks ago on ebay, it was only about $12.00. He did pay in about 3 days. I sent it with conformation and it arrived to him over a week ago. So far he has not left a feedback for me. So.. I'm waiting to see what he may try and pull.

    Anything happen yet?

If I were a seller to this thief, I would be eagerly anticipating the 90 day mark, or whatever the limit is for credit card chargebacks.

    Sorry to hear that, man!

I am also glad that I have canceled every order from him on Amazon and GEMM over the past couple years - probably about 20 orders total. Just not worth the risk of a hassle.

Talk about timing. This dipsh#t just placed another order with me today through GEMM. I just canceled it.
